There was some people teasing on me for supporting them when i was young. Allegedly is a group mainly loved by women... Obviously, i didn't care all those comments and now i still loving their gorgeous music.

I always think Texas was a very underrated band. They had tremendous songs and a beautiful voice!!!

i can remmember myself DISCMAN 12 years old llistening to this at middle schhool.. 36 atm

The opening bars punch you in the face with nostalgia.

Met these guys at a convert they did at my local theatre while i worked there. I helped cook and serve them food in the day and then worked the show at night. I can say with all honesty that they are some of the most genuine, lovely people i have ever met in the industry ❤

Saw Texas live last year-2023 and Sharleen Spiteri still has that superbly versatile voice -a timeless voice like her seemingly eternal looks. She not only sounds great but looks it too ! If you get a chance go see them live -best live band Ive seen in years .

In 1997 I was only 17 working my first job at Burger King. Certain songs STAYED on the radio...this was obviously one of them. So I learned it whether I wanted to or not and it is permanently ingrained in mind. I love the chords that plays during the chorus. Sounds so heavenly and majestic.

I remember being 7 years old and sleeping on the living room floor on a mattress after watching Pet Detective on TV with my brother. When the movie finished they played this song and I can remember falling asleep to it and feeling safe. It's probably weird to others but that's where my mind goes whenever I hear this song.

I had this song on a mix tape in 1998. For some reason this song crossed my mind tonight, and once I played it here I felt like I was pulled back in time and place. I'm young and starry eyed again, and I'm in my old room in our old house, studying hard and believing that the future is mine. Thank you for the good music that helped me survive so far, although nothing went as hoped for.

Eternally optimistic sound. It's a lovely mystery how some people transmit an energy when they sing. She's like an albatross in flight with effortless vocals.

It is not possible to move back to those times when life was flowing in its current, thanks to such songs I have a wonderful picture of those years in front of my eyes.

Wow, this came out 27 years ago and I had forgotten about it. Thanks youtube for recommending this song... I recognized the song the first 5 seconds it started playing. Brings back amazing feelings from my youth. :)

I have even seen my 8 year old son trying to sing it when it gets played in the car.

I remember cooking and setting up for these guys when they came to the theatre I worked at. I got front row seats after 😊

I was 17 years old when this song was out in 1996 I’m now 41 years old the 90s was the greatest decade of all

The best female vocalist Sharleen Spetteri not to mention being so pretty on screen. I think she has the most beautiful face among all music videos of all time. What makes her even beautiful, she doesnt' even know how pretty, beautiful she is. she is not that aware how BEAUTIFUL she is.

But they really could have done an awful lot better with the quality of the sound on the video. Shame cause it would sell their music far better if they had made a better job of that. Halo video also has awful sound quality.... and that too is an excellent track.

Texas reminds me so much of being a wee boy riding in the back of my Mum’s car playing my game boy colour. They were constantly on the radio, them, Roland Keaton and Top loader. 😄
