Gotta disagree... not so much with the general sentiment, but the vocal track is too quiet in this song. Got some Nelly Furtado recommend to the right ----> Mixed much better. So is pretty much every Shania Twain and Alanis Morisette song. Still far better than a lot of the crap out today where can hardly pick out a word they mumble out with the extreme use of autotune to the point where... ok, it's the right pitch but you don't even know what word they're singing anymore because it's so warped.

If you grew up listening to this kind of music,THEN YOUR CHILDHOOD WAS AWESOME! Songs like this make wish I had a time machine or Kronika's Hourglass!

Idk what possessed me to remember this song but it was absolute GOLD. They just don't make music like this anymore.

As a child you idolized the band for their ability to conquer the world, and some individually standed out, the voice calms you and the fact that things will never be the same again keeps repeating in the back of your mind because its true. Melanie C is a ghost of a past fantasy that cause you to return to relive that memory for a feel-good-feeling.

Miss my old life... miss you so so much Michelle,😢😢😢😢😢😢❤
This song was a huge success in Europe back to 2000 ! Simply Iconic
There seemed to be a specific production style in 1999 and I absolutely loved it! It was very RnB driven (like this one) and many had the signature powdery soft keys 😍 You can see it in songs like "Two In A Million" by S Club, "Born To Make You Happy" by Britney and "U Know What's Up" by Donell Jones etc - sounded so nice 👌

I think Suga by Baby Bash has same style. It wasn't reliesed in 1999 though. And So Sick by Neyo. So it may refer to the early 00s. Ahhh nice time in music 🎶
