    @Chris Brannon because the whole reason for the beef is the competition. Texas player wouldn't be mad if she was winning, she'd be as unbothered as the Louisville player is. The score matters because it can totally dictate how much you care about some little words that somebody else said. And Louisville didn't "not want the smoke," she just knew that the loser's opinion didn't matter.
