For me Texas took the phrase "There are two wolves inside of you" in her story. In her case the first one is the wolf that is chained in the past the other is the one that ties to the freedom of the present.

There's a few inconsistencies with the actual story: for example Giovanna surviving her execution by her underling Wallach by pure chance, as his blade missed her heart, and Sora and Texas managed to show up fast enough to carry her to the hospital. It was also Lappland that drove a truck through the couthouse during the trial, as she wanted to bail Texas out of being in prison. Finally, the politician in question that became the new Ministro dei Lavori Pubblici, named Rubio, willingly stepped up to the position, deceiving Don Bernardo for his own end. But aside from that, it's a brisk rundown of the event, so well done.

pretty sure Rubio its not deceiving Don Bernardo, Don Bernardo knows that Rubio gonna make that speech, its part of Bernardo plan

@@pepego2595 Yes, it was said that only Bernardo had seen trough Rubio's meek facade. And he was the trigger Bernardo needed to spark his revolution.

The opera was getting destroyed was actually Lappland doing her thing Texas then tried to get to Giovanna and fought with the mid boss but he lost because he fought half-ass with Texas hoping she would kill Giovanna Sadly, Texas didn't kill nor Giovanna killed Texas. She used art and create an explosion but Texas jumped out of a window and reunited with the group But this isn't their first time meeting the group in this town As Texas was the one who walks along with Sora when she was trying to finish the costume. This is in the dialogue mode that you have to read after each stage Texas did not intervene with Giovanna getting sliced to death. She got to her when they already tried to kill her but they missed her heart by 2 cm [Though I think the mid-boss felt guilty and missed] I don't know if you're trying to simplify the story or just didn't care about some details that matter not. But the story deserves a full reading as it's very well written. As you get to understand each individual in the story enough, especially the car washer. Also, the relationship between Lappy and Texas was not what people think they imagined Lappy, before this event just wants to prove Texas wrong She wants to crush her faith and see her fall into despair Because no one can leave, this is a swamp and you don't just get away Then Texas just told her that it was not as dramatic a thing as she think to cut ties with her family. And Lappy being Lappy she literally went and do that and then she was like "Oh yeah, you're right Texas, it's just a simple thing" I misjudged her character the whole time Lappy is Elites of the Elites, She's smart, well-educated, and cultured in her custom. She has no peers until she met Texas Lappy is talented, gifted and well trained, and educated that one day she went rebellious BC that's what prodigies do To her Texas is a being that came in and flip her understanding about the world she lives in upside down. In the liquidation event, Texas Literally led the group to go kill her She thought killing Texas would free her from this confusion she has in her head She was so excited that she ran so fast and left the unit and went there alone Then she saw something that even make her even more conflicted Texas burned the mansion We learned later That her grandfather tried to kill her father with a gun but because it was from Black steel and probably not a good quality gun or he misfired [Gun in this universe is a bit complicated to fire] The gun exploded then Texas's father stab him. Texas got tired from all of this

I find it a little bit inaccurate from what actually happened in the side story. The truck part if I'm not wrong, Lappland was the one driving the truck and crash into the court instead. Also, Wallach actually stabbed Giovanna (and he probably missed stabbing at her heart on purpose considering he is a professional mafioso), Texas only there to save Giovanna after Wallach and the gang leaves. And Rubio actually asked Bernardo to become the new Minister of Construction in order to give the speech. Anyway, this is a great video and welcome back Qaiser!

After reading II Siracusano, I have to say its my new favorite side story in Arknights, followed by Sultifera Navis and Near Light

Aside from her family, Texas' name is probably also a reference to the actual texas wolf itself, the Canis lupis monstrabilis, which is a subspecies of wolf that is already extinct.

My favourite moment from Il Siracusano is when Qaiser said "it's lore time" and he started lored all over the stages

Now this is a pleasant suprise!

The prodigal daught-- er, SON returns! It was a long-awaited event, and I have to say that I'm happy that Il Siracusano was so chaotic. I particularly love that Rubio, a character who it is very easy to look down on, became so important in motivating Texas, Penance and Vigil to take action.

i’m glad you made this video because i have just been skimming through the story and kinda understanding what’s happening, but this video helped me a lot to fill out the gaps.
