Texas Captain does the IMPOSSIBLE in GALVESTON BAY - CCA STAR TOURNAMENT
Young Galveston, Texas Captain WYATT FOSTER has done the impossible by catching not one...but two CCA TAGGED REDFISH in back to back cast. Im not sure what the odds are against ever doing that but that have to be pretty slim odds!!!
Capt. Wyatt is a GUIDE so his catch did not qualify him for the amazing STAR TOURNAMENT PRIZES!!!!
Galveston Saltwater fishing is heating up and so is the chase for the $100K fish!!!!

Texas CCA STAR tournament releases those fish every year. The ones sho catch them win boats, trucks...giant prizes!!!!

The Stars were Aligned! I've fished my life of 50yrs in the Freeport TX area & never caught or know anyone that's caught a Tagged Red. Many Do Not Know, You not only have to Register or pay the $25. You also have to be a CCA Member! That's an extra $35 per year. I'm a member & many I've spoken with have stated, "oh, they just told me at Academy to pay $25 & I could win a boat & truck or a boat by catching a Red or Blue Tagged Red." Not.. Read the Rules also.
This is why we dnt see any winners in south tx all those redfish are in the galveston area
