Teutonic Knight Armor
It's been a while since my last update on my Teutonic kit, but here it is. I'm fairly pleased with the look. A couple extra pieces for anachronistic safety, but that's the worst of it. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Comment, subscribe, and thanks for watching.
The music I used in this video was "Dageraad" by "Heidevolk" album name "Walhalla Wacht." The music I used in my outro was "Take the day" by "Turisas" album name "Stand up and fight."

For anyone wondering where I got any of the pieces I made a quick video covering everything. Hope this helps. kzread.info/dash/bejne/o3qKm7KkZJraqbQ.html

+w0t3rdog I'm in no way an historian, but from what i've read, it seems the great helm was usually (or at least some times) discarded when fighting on foot, as they are not really optimal. In a 1vs1 duel, you don't need to see much as long as you can see the guy in front, but in the heat of a battle, peripheral vision, hearing and the ability to shout orders seem fairly important.
@w0t3rdog
7 жыл бұрын
Loïc Rebts true that periperal vison is greatly reduced with the great helmet. but! even a glancing blow on maille can leave devastating injuries.. that's why the head was the first piece of the body to be covered by plate.
