Your safety is good bud. I've done tree work for years just now getting into saddle hunting and a guy my brothers worked with dropped down the tree and a stub stopped him in the armpit. He didn't lean back and rode the trunk down. Messed him up bad. I use ropes to get into the tree but you never want any slack when off the ground with any rope connecting you to the tree because it doesn't take much to break your back. Great video bud!

Awesome step by step video. Clear concise and helpful. I'm really thinking this will be my next stage of hunting. Normal tree stand are killing my back! I believe this would more comfortable for short and long sits. Thanks for the education.

Very interesting. Truly being able to shoot 360 may be the only advantage to this system. Certainly no less of a production getting up into the tree. My carbon fiber “ole man vision” that I’ve been using for 22 years is still my main stay due to ease of use, light weight and simple. But I may give this tethrd system a try at some point

I ordered the same kit but couldnt afford the knee pads and got the 4 pack of climbing sticks. Pretty stoked to use it for elk this year and whitetail.

When I sit down in mine my prusik knot always slips down on my tether. Sometimes I’ll get it just right and it won’t but most time it just slides down gradually sometimes quickly which is pretty nerve wrecking.

This may have just been the video I needed to hit the button on saddle hunting, awesome job. One dumb question that I might have missed in the video, what rope/line are you using to retract your bow while up in the tree? Thanks again!!

We are glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks for watching. You can use 550 paracord to make a bow rope.

What is the Britte orange tabs on the phantom saddle for? Bellow the lineman loops..

The orange loops are for the leg straps. Each strap has a T-Hook on the end that will interface with the bright orange loop below the lineman's loops. I hope that helps.

I was gonna buy one of theirs until I saw it was made in China after them saying it’s made in the USA and they ship out saddles that are over a year and a half old while still telling people that they need to be replaced 5yrs after manufactured date and then when questioned, they said it’s after 5yrs of use but has a 10yr shelf life. Their lost
