Frank Mcaw there are some great tactical shovels that have a great axe side and have a great saw so I would prefer carrying one of those

Taras reminds me of a Russian man I used to know . He was my city bus driver and he was always so kind and friendly to everyone on the bus no matter how the people were to him. Then one day I never saw him again. I asked about him and some people said that he was fired. I couldn't believe it. Now when I watch Taras it reminds of how kind he was.

Taras strange addiction: testing splitting axes and chainsaw sharpeners. Jk i love these vids.

I pretty much like the concept of this tool, for camping or surival stuff this is the way you want to go. But anyway, I like to see how this works on bigger logs, this might be difficult with a hollow handle.

as a general rule axes are usually two handed, a hatchet is usually one handed. there is also a difference in how the steel is forged

I have the Fiskars hatchet. No gimmicks just a good tool with a nice coating on the steel. It holds an edge well

I like the concept of having a saw and axe as one thing, but in the wwods when you are cutting down a tree a bit larger and heavier you want tu use the saw and the axe one after the other and switch all the time. So if you have both in one thing you have to switch from axe to saw all the time.

That's a nice axe. I might consider getting it.

I do believe your suppose to chop branches by swing the axe at a slight angle so it doesn't dull the blade as fast, but it seemed like a Good axe either way
