I love the side without the cool shot & how the style maintained strong for all those hours. You have done videos in the past using curly tools and hours later your curls lost its form, but with this tool well it helped your curls last longer giving your hair a smooth look. I would feel uncomfortable with the backend piece of this tool, but like every other hair tool, you just have to find the way to make it work for you. Great video

I saw the video yesterday and I loved it. I like how defined it gave you those curls. Based on your videos I bought the pep rally spray and used it on my sister hair yesterday and it came out amazingly soft. Love your videos!!!

I totally see a difference with the cool shot! You have more volume and they were more defined at the root at the beginning! :) I love your videos!

I was totally seeing the same thing Sarah but Julissa said that there wasn’t any difference so I thought that I was maybe seeing something that was not there?? But it was definitely more defined and tighter curls in my opinion too! ❤️

there is no difference at all, she applied the cool shot for such a short time on each curl that it's impossible for a difference to be there. Not enough time for hair to actually cool down and set the style

Hi Julissa!! Thanks for the video. I watched it after watching one of your 2020 top tools video :). As a result, I ordered it and used it for the first time. Loved it! Easy to use. After a bit of research I found out that you should slide the curl towards the tip and then do the cool shot. I did that and it works pretty well!

Both sides look great and defined, but I feel like the hot shot side is less frizzy and less messy. Love the video anyway! Your hair is amazing 😍

It’s actually like some professional curling wands and they are actually super easy to use on somebody else! Obviously they don’t have the cool shot but the way I curl hair I hold the curls into barrels and clip them up to cool which makes them last longer. It looks like a really great tool tbh Julissa. I love your videos and congratulations on your beautiful wedding day darling ❤️❤️❤️ xxxxxxxx

In my opinion, the side with the cool shot look fuller and with more volume, but it didn't make a huge difference. Thank you for the review🤗

Definitely compare it to the other chi! Ive had my eyes on the other chi and would love to see the difference

Totally agree with everyone. The cool shot side isn’t flat like the other side and is more defined still. Seems like it made a difference!

You can see on the side that used the cool shot it has more volume. A huge benefit of the lava/ceramic technology used to make this tool is it prevents damage that other high heating tools don’t, It provides constant heat, and create a shine all while using it at lower temperatures. It is also ergonomically designed so your not causing stress or strain on your joints it’s very easy to use. Another great thing about this tool is when you style hair say for a wedding you do the curl, then clip it or hold it so the curls cools down however with the curl shot it cools the curl right away and in turn saves you or the stylist time (you don’t I have to put the iron down pick up a clip place the clip and the pic the iron back up) And for those of you in the hair business know that Time is money so for me a stylist if I can save time and not compromise my clients hair count me in.

I think the side with the cool shot does look better. Both sides are beautiful but I like the cool shot side more. :) Thanks for the video! xo

Beautiful curls, and not a difference at all after the wear test, i did however notice a slight difference in the curls on the side with the cool shot after you were finished. I think you should compare it with one of your other curling wands, do one side with the cool shot and other side without, this way you can see if there is a difference with another curling wand.

Hot tools used to have a much smaller tool similar to this... Kristen Ess has one similar - neither have a cool shot though

I do see the difference. The cool side look fuller and more volume but with freeze and the other side not volume and no freeze. Is a cool tool but to big.

It’s not a big difference but I do see that the side w/o the cool shot is a bit loser can you do the video with the curls broken up? I think at that point we would see a bigger difference
