I was literally gonna mention that fact...that wow...it is not a clickbait😳😳
@odear6087
3 жыл бұрын
@@CG-mj8tk clickbait is essentially misrepresentation or exaggeration of something. it is usually in reference to a title, but on youtube it can also encompass the thumbnail as well. specifically here, it could've been expected that this woman's video claiming to having a technique for applying mascara that is better than false lashes is *false* due to her either misrepresenting information (meaning she lied about it perhaps) or she over-exaggerated her results (meaning she is showing it, but it isn't as good as what you hoped). the person commenting is noting that this wasn't actually clickbait because she was truthful in her representation, and this technique is actually successful
@mareekeay8670

@@CG-mj8tk click bait is when the content in the clip has nothing to do with the headline. Example would be if the headline was about making your lashes longer but once the clip started playing it was about something entirely different.. Hope this helps.. 💙
Warming up your eyelash curler is a total game changer I run mine under hot water wipe it dry and curl my eyelashes immediately and holy moly girls do it try it it's amazing
For the ppl in the comments crying for not having long lashes like Smitha. I was a person w literally zero lashes, whereas my sister had fuller lashes as if she's using false lashes all day. Due to insecurities felt within my own home I started to look home remedies to increase the volume of lashes. I look for home remedies, bc I don't use much chemical products. I found that castor oil can help your lashes grow. So I brought a tiny bottle of castor oil and applied it overnight with an old mascara wand, and y'all won't believe the change. I literally have lashes like this. I'm no more insecure about lashes and I've never used false lashes after I started to use castor oil. You just have to apply for a month to see better results. It may cause itchiness in your eyes first, but you'll gradually cop up w that 🙌
I am not a false lashes person and this is video is definitely for me😍😍😍😍

I've always done this. I remember a friend nearly having a panic attack in high school seeing me pull out a curler after putting on mascara. It truly is the best way to hold the curl. A+!
I've been thinking about getting false lashes since I'm 67 years old and my lashes seem very thin, but after watching your video I'm determined to go and use the same products that you are using and try to get the same effect as you. Thanks for helping me try your method!

These are really good tips, but I don’t think most peoples lashes will look that good after, you are seriously blessed! 😍
I’ve been doing this method exactly but without the primer. I just used a coat of mascara in its place. Works just as well, since I was a teen. First time ever I’ve seen it on a video! I never thought of sharing it but love that you did! Also I used a fine tooth comb.

Yes...this way is so similar to how I have been applying my mascara for years! The only step i don't do is the primer but I have always applied my mascara and curled them again after they dry. I have ALWAYS gotten compliments on my lashes. I will def add the primer to my lashes to maximize my lashes even more now. Thanks for sharing!
i naturally have really long eyelashes so i really want to enhance them, and using falsies is counter-productive for me. this is a gamechanger!

Perfect, the exact way I’ve been doing my lashes for ever. Yes it works just like that. It’s all in the technique. I do like Lash Paradise but my all-time fav is Lancôme Definicils in Black, waterproof. I will switch the the Blinc primer in Black though. My primer is white & seems counterintuitive to start with bright white lashes only to cover them with black. Beautiful Smitha!!♥️
One of the best most honest genuine MUA. Love her xx
I found this in my feed and I'm glad it did! You are the ONLY person who addresses the curl holding power of a waterproof mascara! I've always wondered why no one else has ever talked about that. It's exactly why I always wear waterproof mascara. Another excellent tip you gave is to use primer, especially a black one. It not only thickens your lashes, but it will be easier to remove your waterproof mascara if the primer is used before mascara. Thanks for a great video! I hope everyone who watches it will use all your great tips!

I'll be trying this next time! I also add extra mascara to the outer edge of my lashes to give a fuller appearance. And I remember reading somewhere that if you apply mascara to your bottom lashes when you're tired or don't look well-rested, it will accentuate that.
Thank you sooo much, this literally changed my lash game and I’ve never seen so many people compliment me. I’m a natural makeup kinda girl so this for eyes and nude lip is my go to!
I swear i am using this technique for soo many years and everytime ask me people what i am using than my lashes are so long or what kind of fake lashes i am using. I thought its kreapy cause i am using this, seeing that someone else using this too makes me really happy right now

This is AMAZING! I will definitely be using this method from now on. The only thing I would add is Perversion mascara by Urban Decay... I apply it as a top coat when I am finished to every mascara that I use. It never fails to take the finished lashes to a whole new level, completely takes it to that false lash look. Thanks so much!
Thank you for this Smitha! I am 62 and have been doing this for years ... don't know how i would even have lashes without this technique! Thank you for sharing!

f You wanna try a fantastic lash trick to make your real lashes look amazing long and full. First curl lashes ( optional ) a fiber lash primer base coat thin coat take off excess from want first let dry then take your favorite mascara then while taking the wand out of mascara tube scrape wand against hole of tube to get the excess off very important then bring wand to root of lashes do not move wand from root what your gonna do is focus the majority of the product at the root do not pull wand through lashes instead blink while holding the wand at base of lash line blink like 5-6 times then pull wand through lashes to tip now take wand no dipping and use to coat the middle and tip of lashes now get a good metal lash comb and only the ends not the base pluff out the lashes your lashes will look like your not wearing mascara yet are full and long. hope this tip is easy finds you well.
Thanks! I never knew what the little combs were for when I was a teen (and admittedly, a 20-something) and would throw them out! Now I am almost 50 and had to run out and get one after I watched your video. I also bought an eyelash primer, which I have never used before. I did end up using a lighter (carefully!) to warm up my curler as I didn't want to be too noisy so early in the morning! I love the results, thanks a million!
I am so glad somebody's showing this technique because I've been doing this for years.
Beautiful! I’ll definitely try these tips. Thank you for caring so much and taking precious time to share these with us. I truly appreciate you. 🙏🏽 Shanti
I've never been able to apply the fake lashes myself and I always had a routine similar to this one. I tried your routine and it works it's magic. LOVEEEEEEE. I've never actually found such a good lash hack!

I'm so glad I found this, I get so much anxiety wearing fake eyelashes.
I love zapping my curler with my blow dryer for a second to really curl my lashes. It's a definite game changer. I cannot wear false lashes at all. It always feels like my lids are being weighed down. Smitha, your videos are some of my favorites and I always recommend your channel for those that inquire about makeup for hooded eyes. I've learned so much from you! 💜
Your tips, tricks and hacks are invaluable. You’re truly a treasure without measure. Thank you..
I was blessed with unusually long eyelashes until my 50's. Having never used false lashes before I don't care for them or the application process. I did discover the mascara products with little fibers added for length and fullness. I also found it to be natural looking and easy to apply. A big difference from the falsies for sure!! Thank you for the information you give us in your videos. Beautiful work.
I always use lash curler without heating up and it works for my lashes. And yeah it definitely works better with waterproof mascara. 👌👌👌 Never used false eyelashes and i'm happy with this technique. 😇😇😇

I’ve been warming my lash curler for years. I was a heated eyelash curler fan years ago but nobody sells em anymore. I also dust my lashes with some powder before applying mascara to give it some volume. Then I hold my lash curler upside down to curl my bottom lashes bcuz I have super straight Asian lashes. Thanks for the great tips!

My goodness this is awesome! I would have never thought to warm my eyelashes curler! Your amazing! I’ve binge watched your channel. I will definitely try your techniques and show you. ❤️💜
I've been doing this technique for over 10 years. Warming the curler is the biggest tip one must do. Even if that's the only thing I have time for, I'll do it. In fact, I have an extra curler in my car bc the heat from the sun is all that's needed if I need a quick lash curl.
Ps- you are a phenomenal presenter and teacher. I love how easily you explain things and you just get straight to it. Keep up the wonderful work!!!!
