The stand was great for my needs as a hammock camper. Most of my trips for kayaking involve car camping and long distances, and the hammock is my favorite way to camp for the night. Having a portable stand for my hammock will make a huge difference in being able to set up and take down at any camp spot or location.
Huge thanks to Anymaka for letting me test their hammock stand.
Cheers!

I got to have one of these. Man. I found my Christmas gift.
I hope they feel that giving you one is worth it because I backed them now as well. ;) Used to love sleeping in my hammock while backpacking, but in car camping with a family often have places without suitable trees. I also don’t have trees I can use in my yard. The great thing about this is that I will be able to use it regularly at home, but unlike a big yard mount, I’ll be able to take it wherever I go. Plus take it up and down at home as needs arise rather than needing a permanent spot all the time. Thanks for adding this to your regular kayaking output.
Just received mine. Very impressed with the quality and ease of use.
Thanks for the video
Very cool !
Nice, will the canopy cover hold up against winds? It provides good shade against sun but feels like it’ll get destroyed by strong winds.
Great video. As an avid hammock camper, I've seen many of these out there but the Anymaka hammock stand has really nailed it. I just backed them on Kickstarter too. Also as a fellow Jeep owner I'd love to see your Kayak mounting setup for the Wrangler. Has anything changed since you last posted the video 7 years ago? Thanks.

Nice! Yeah, the mounting setup is pretty much the same. Different cage but same hullavator setup - I made two recent short clips that show it

This doesn't look like it will work with most fixed ridgeline hammocks like Haven, Hennessey, or possibly Amok. (There are more like Warbonnet and Dutchware as examples. ) I have tried several stands with the several hammock models I have purchased since 2020. I sleep in a hammock every night in my room and a good stand for these types of hammocks has proven to be a challenge to find. (I have a Kammock Swiftlet, Tensa 4 and now a Yobogear Hive.) Any insights on using this stand with the hammlcks mentioned above?
You didn’t show you folding it up could it easily be done with one hand? I only have one working hand is why I ask
i am only asking this because i want to understand size to hammock ratio - please no offense. how tall are you? you look around 5'8 maybe 150lbs?

I'm 6 feet tall, 270 lbs and laying very comfortably in it as I type this.
Would be beneficial to know how tall you are.

No problem, I’m 6 feet tall.
Would this work with an underquilt/overquilt setup?

Looks like that would be a challenge. Note none of the reviews I've seen so far mention the horizontal distance between support ends. The UQ normally attaches at the hammock end loops. But with this stand those hammock ends are folded over the stand ends. Assuming - and that's a big assumption at this point - the horizontal distance will accommodate the usual 11 ft hammock, you may have to go back to using a sleeping pad. Note the same, "How does this work with it?" question applies to a bugnet.

Their site has some dimensions on it when I just looked. I suspect it may be an issue within the maximum distance of 105 inches between arms.
At least lay on it so we know it’s at least comfortable.
