This video is meant to show people how it is to use a Aurora as a helmet mounted NVG. It isn´t easy to navigate but if you plan your path and move slowly it is possibly to use it for airsoft. The lag problem isn´t as big as the reduced FOV when zooming in to a natural degree. But if you take your time it is doable. The place were shooting at are so dark that my friend that joined me couldnt see me after i walked 3meters from him. If i have turned of my floodlight IR i wouldn´t be able to navigate with the Sionyx. Also i have the trainingpath programmed in to my brain wich also helps to reduce time. The camera aren´t meant to be comparable to gen 2, but still it doesn´t deserv the amount of discredit some people give it. There are many situations were this could be used. It is also not sensible to other bright lightsources, so braking the sensor due to this isn´t an issue. Anyways, hope you like the video.
