Great video. That turned out great considering you were using chlorinating liquid that wasn’t in its finest hour. Dan’s channel has a wealth of knowledge on it for sure.it’s always my go to channel for house washing and lawn care

Ive used this recipe for cleaning my house for a couple years. I’m always impressed with how easy it is. Much easier than dealing with a pressure washer for sure. I tried it on my brothers painted deck and it turned the algae pink. So not sure what that’s about.

Ok interesting. I’m still in the testing phases to get comfortable with it before I offer it to clients. I checked on that moss today that was on the window sill. And it’s changing color. Getting yellowish. Thanks for watching.

Lawn Care Business Success ya I wanted to offer it to my lawn customers as well. And I was very confident with it. Until it went pink at my brothers. Haven’t spent time looking into it so I haven’t offered to my customers yet. Still works great on my house. 🤷🏽‍♂️ keep up the good work! Love your content!

Spraying down the areas landscape with water to prevent damages or using a neutralizer mixed with water will “instantly” neutralize the bleach my researching finds. Thanks for sharing your research finds they helped me today ! 👌

I keep trying g to do this but the upper areas of 2nd floor do not get clean by soft Wash so I end up pressure washing the whole thjng. Anyone else have similar struggles with using a foam cannon and not getting it anywhere as clean as just using a pressure washer? I believe I am using the right mixture of 50% pool chlorine & some Dawn soap.. I even tried using some liquid tide but the higher areas do not seem to get as clean as the lower areas which are easily reached with a pressure washer for rinsing ??

So if you use that mix it won’t corrode the pressure washer as fast?

You should have been wearing waterproof clothing, a face visor and gloves. SH can burn your skin and rot your clothing. I noticed a great deal of misting whilst you were spraying it on & that was going all over you and into your airways - dress safely when using potentially toxic chemicals. SH will not remove the moss, you need to scrape that off so that the solution can get to the roots. Use a proper residual biocide to get rid of the moss. Better to use a specifically manufactured surfactant than use dish soap too.

Spray solution from bottom to top rinse top down.

I believe it would be much safer and more effective if you substitute liquid laundry detergent for the dishwashing soap. Laundry detergent is formulated to be mixed with bleach. After all, this is done when clothes are washed.

I mixed it with Tide today and the mixture got hot. Not sure what chemical reaction was taking place but not doing that again here.

Have you ever had any chest discomfort after using the mix ? Just worried about creating a toxic gas called " Chloramine". Thanks.

No I did not. I’ve only used it the one time for this video though. With that being said I would probably try it without the soap and see how it preforms. Thanks for watching.

Hey how you doing I have a pressure washing company how is a 50/50 mix on your roof for the Moss that's one gallon of sodium hypochlorite to 1 gallon of water that will bring it down to a 5% if you're using 10% sodium hypochlorite spray on the moth and other infected areas of your roof and let it sit the next rain alright see roof off with no problem so you don't have to rinse it down

You must use zinc sulfate to clean the roof.

You’re creating mustard gas basically and it’s heavier then air so it stays low. Long term definitely wear a mask because that shit will have you put down as you get older. Especially if you’re not thinking when mixing and catch a whiff some freaking how… Germans used it on us in ww2 on the battlefield when the wind was blowing towards our trenches.

Your title says sodium hypochlorite. But, in the video, you keep saying sodium hydrochloride and sodium hypochloride. If you're encouraging people to mix chemicals...get the products correct.
