I have the same tires and the same issue, I fixed it with some tire glue in small sections and no 👎 more problems 👍

Yeah I could do that…kinda want to avoid glueing them just in case I swap those tires out though

I finally had to glue mine, still using them today. Ran them down on the beach and they handled amazingly!

Yeah I might have to do that too cause my tires keep on coming off……the screws just won’t hold them in place

Yeah I was having an issue with one of the beadlocks staying on but the tires don’t do too bad with grip

Hey Nolan I really dig your videos man…. You’ve progressed well! I have a few slash’s and my two wheel drive is the most fun…. The others are like point and shoot and they just go where ya want them to. I kept my 2wd with the 12 turn motor and it won’t blow the beadlock tires off. It feels slow but my lap times are better because I don’t overpower the track conditions.

Thanks man! Yeah I can believe it would be faster with a brushed setup…I’d probably put a 2s in my brushless slash…makes it much more capable of getting that power to the ground compared to a 3S pack

I really like the 2s on 2wd…. Especially with spec class racing and all the cars are the same. Even when you have a suckish race your having fun on the cheap

@@roycox8123 yeah man! Much easier to get the power down on 2s…similar power systems also make for a level playing field

great video! recently i put slash 4x4 a arms on my slash 2wd and it widened it SO MUCH it was a game changer in handling and stability, i HIGHLY recommend it.

I had some rpm a arms laying around for the 4x4 they are the lime green ones and some stock 4x4 rears and it all went on really easily, makes it about as wide as your wide maxx, you can make it wider even with spacers as well I have them on as well, You can do drifts in green grass with it after, I don’t even have a lcg chassis I can only imagine how good it would be with one

I know that you need to turn sharp on turns but if you run a little thicker grease in rear end it will keep the tire that lost traction from spinning out so hard

That’s true…it’ll probably still come off though even with thicker fluid

two weeks and blew out the side of the cheap tires, foam is coming apart, but then I broke more parts then to worry about tires hahahahahaha

Could you show the way the tires gets captured in the beed? Is it the same as the proline beadlocks

Yeah it should be the same, just remove the ring and put the lip of the tire under it and screw it back down

I remembered that your tqi receiver went out but you know you can call traxxas and do a trade in for a new one for half the price

@@RCKnockout you can trade in any electronic from traxxas for a trade in repair or you can do the power up system so no it not just for the receiver and you can trade in transmitters too

Yea I bought wide a arms for my stampede. But they have ended up on my slash. With the slash chassis longer I thought let's widen it plus traxxas 17mm wheel adapter. End result I bought a baja bug body and its extra wide.

My tires kept on coming off from under the Beadlock ring…but the tires actually work pretty well

@@RCKnockout absolutely was very impressed on how they hold up on gravel! But wish where they mounted to the hex stub it would be more of a snug fit. Currently have a washer making it tighter

@@mauriceartiles3968 yeah the Beadlocks are a known issue with these wheels and tires…you might need to glue the tires onto the wheels

GOT THE SAME WHEELS, MOVE TO THE 12 SCREW RING, PROBLEM SOLVED

Yeah but what if I want to swap out tires when they wear down? Much easier than having to melt the glue off

With 2wd slashes you can’t really drive on a dirt track without drifting only on like carpet track you can drive normally

Yeah it’s hard to get traction with 2wd

I tried those, and on a 4 wheel drive and 3s these wheels were weak. I stripped every hex and wheel.

Really? I haven’t had any issues with the hexes so far..Just the beadlock ring not holding in place…the tires actually grip up pretty well when they’re attached to the wheel lol 😂

@@RCKnockout I had a issue with the tires coming out too. But after around 3 batteries i started stripping hex' and the wheel. I then bought some Split Six 2714 is the part number and these ones work much better! maybe with 2 wheel drive you wont strip them out...

@@700Dragon1 I’ve had issues with the 17mm adapters on my “100mph Traxxas Slash Project” when I crash it causes the stub axles to break pretty easily….

Is it a real beadlock?
