They have taken down over 100K videos. Certain. Words not allowed in comments just like FB edits all content and owned by the Z word. FB demanded to edit my computer. Did not like my posts. Too close to truth apparently.

Because you are sheltered and kept. The reality is that all the terrible ideas people have joked about in the comments, other people are being paid large sums of money, to make happen. All of this stuff receives gvt funding. Do you think the military wants these to entertain the troops? That police want them to help little old ladies cross the road? This sort of technology is extraordinarily dangerous, because it has outstripped Humanity's moral and ethical capacity. It lowers the threshold for force and abuse, because a Human being with feelings, no longer has to stomach the dirty work, or decide if its worth the risk to one's own safety. Just let the machine do that, too. We already see this in the dramatic increase of dronestrikes and increasing disregard for collateral casualties; simply handwaving away anyone close enough to the target to get injured, as being bad guys for simply being that close to the target.

@@springbloom5940 okay... What? Look, ask anyone who knows me well and they will agree that I'm pretty clear being against big corps and corrupt governments. But how is this war technology? They are incredibly tiny little things that require close range remote control. They don't have guns strapped to their backs. Being suspicious about technology when it comes to "the man" makes perfect sense. But like... These are just weird toys. The tech going on here is fully in the pursuit of knowledge. Yes, people can use that to their evil advantage, but banning some weird robotic dogs isn't gonna stop that. This technology is going to advance to matter what.

@@Niko-dm7qq your last sentence is exactly what the guy is talking about. These things will advance no matter and they will get into the wrong hands, no matter what. It's all fun and games until and evil dictator get hold of them and increases their abilities... That being said, I doubt MIT students have access to anything that an evil-doer don't already... These poor students have no idea that one day their cute little cheetahbots will have c4 strapped to them and be remotely controlled to walk into enemy buildings and self destruct.. it will be a sad day in robot history 😣
