I got mine January of 2017 because they were back ordered like three months out when they first released. I was like the only person in my school with them for about a year and a half. Then the memes exploded and now everyone has AirPods or fake AirPods. They’re everywhere.

I have the catalyst case. It is good for keeping out dirt and lint. One major downside though is that after like 8 months of use, the side of the silicon begins to tear from repeated stress from opening and closing it. Also, I would not recommend running around with the AirPods clipped to anything because after a while they will start to slowly slide out of the case and eventually will drop to the floor.

The tile will stay updated, but if you look in the Find My App, it will only show the last known location.

My AirPods have survived several laundry cycles so I’d say they’re already pretty water resistant

I got the special edition of the catalyst case from the apple store and it didnt fit onto my AirPods properly so there was a massive gap at the top of the case

I have a third party AirPods Pro charging case that has a pairing button, but it’s in the front. It’s the same size and fits in the AirPods Pro protective cases. There’s also a Lightning connector

i brought that wireless charging case in amazon.

AirPods are all ready waterproof! Other thing is that there’s things, if you lost your AirPods go on find iPhone, and it will find your AirPods it will make a sound for you know where it is!

Lil David E airpods are not waterproof, they are water resistant, witch is not the same thing. I have the airpods pro, and they are not waterproof. And if you lose your airpods, you will only find the place where you last used them. And when that make a sound, it’s realllyyyyy light and you can Barely hear it

When I open my AirPods my phone won’t immediately pop out the screen thing. I have to do many times and it will show pop the little screen thing!

I got a case that was big enough to also put a tile in. I figured it would be a great idea!

Thunder actually as far as I know he lives in between Portland and Seattle. I know it may seem that way because often the phones will say Vancouver weather, but that’s just how he sets them up.

Don’t get that catalyst. After a few months it loses its shape and snugness. My AirPods fell out a few times.

I have that Catalyst case. Over time the AirPods begin to slide out of that case if you lean on it a lot. (Like hooking it to your belt loops) But it’s ok for drops.

The find my iPhone app works for airpods too.. they’ll even make a beeping sound of you loose them in your car or house etc so you can find them..

Well I did actually washed my airpods in detergent water for more than 8 hours and the airpods went back to normal working condition after a week without case so... what for the case?

Eh, when I open my AirPods case it never pops up on my phone anyway. Literally never works. So 🤷🏻‍♀️ doesn’t work with my iPad either.

You have to hold them next to your phone, if they are further away they will still connect but not pop up, also you have to turn the screen on, if it’s in standby it won’t work either.

I had the same "waterproof" case and my friend threw them in the shallow end of the pool and I didn't trust the case and dove in after them they were only in the water for less than 30 seconds and they were toast case isn't waterproof at all only thing it's good for is if it's raining outside and you have to get somewhere lol
