seriously in love with your channel now!! gives me so much useful strategy really helps me get my feet back to the ground and know where to go with confidence can't thank you more greg!! best best wishes to you
Havent started to study yet but clearly with a score of 13/30 I can see what my weaknesses are. I appreciate the explanation and way to break down words. Helps to see where my logic worked and didn’t or why I should have went with a 1st or 2nd choice
I got 27/30. I feel it is a good practice, especially for beginners. Good job, Greg.
This is just perfect. Intro-> actual matter-> feedback (wakeup_call/re-enforcement/back_patting) depending on what you need according to where you stand. I'm lovin it.
Thanks for your videos! I only had 2.5 weeks to study and got 148 quant and 152 verbal, it's not a high score but I'm happy with myself :)
29/30. Found your channel yesterday and have spent my entire day learning from you and @The Tested Tutor. I'll be taking the GRE in 6 months. Thanks for all the help!

I followed your GRE Vocab mountain and was able to score 26/10. Thanks for your efforts 😄😄 . I'll betaking GRE in June or July this year, hope that I'll learn a lot from your course.
26/30 I’m currently learning on vocabulary and have finished about half of GRE 3000 words and also done 200 practice question on Text Completion. This kinda give me confidence. Thank you. I will come and take a test everyday! The WAs were cerebral, daunting, spendthrift, amorphous. puerile was easy for me with Latin knowledge puer “boy”. spendthrift was really misleading, I never thought it could mean prodigal/extravagant/profligate/squander.
As a second year student it was good feel to score 18/30. I am looking forward to reach 28 before I give GRE. Just discovered this series, thank you for this!

27/30 - And I have been so hard on myself so this helps a lot
26/30, haven't studied for the SAT in over 5 years!
good 12 right out of 30. Thank you
Very very helpful...please make more of these !!!
Your lessons are amazing. Thank you
This was so much fun and helpful ! thanks !
thank you so much! your videos are so helpful. I hope I can do well on my upcoming GRE :)
taking this test before 2 days of my exam, with a nervous mindset that my preparation is not good enough, that my vocabulary is not sufficiently deep! I was clearly LACKING CONFIDENCE!!! But after scoring 24/30 in this test and a last minute inspirational line of "you should be proud of yourself" from you, now I know I can snatch away some kind of moderate score from the test center ! Thank you GREG Mat!

I got 27 right! I haven't studied much but read constantly Winston Churchill was a spendthrift. I didn't understand the didactic one. Never heard the word puerile before. Thank you for this video!
Thank you for this, it was so helpful!
24: I've been super harsh on myself lately when it comes to verbal. This brought a sense of confidence. Thanks!

Glad i found this channel ..🙌🏼
Got 24. Thanks Greg. It was really helpful :)
thank you so much mr greg mat
I wanted to test my vocab (I haven't studied for the GRE). I got 19. And had I spent a bit more time on some of the questions I'm sure I could have gotten more. Great video btw! Especially the way you do the breakdown of the words (roots) as a way of assisting you in determining the right answer.
Started from today ..i got 11/30 .happy n motivate to go ahead.
24/30, haven't started my studying journey yet so that's encouraging
28/30 Didactic (X) Spendthrift (X)
Got 29/30. Thanks Greg for this video.
29/30. Ive read 45 difficult books over the past two years and looked up every word I didn't know. This wasn't in preparation for the test just my own interest. I would suggest this as a good preparation method to studying without studying.
16/30. I am looking forward to entrenching my score to the 27-28 level.
Excellent thank you :)
6 months ago I knew none of those words except for misanthrope and homogeneous, I memorized 1500 words in 6 months (1000 more to go) and now I scored 27! Most of the online resources underestimate non-native speakers' English learning capabilities but we indeed can do it, too! 😊 What was that feeling called in GRE? jubilant / ebullient ? 😂

Surprised myself with a 25 because i feel like I'm pretty behind on studying. but this video was a good place marker of my progress, def need to study more but I feel a bit more prepared than before so thank you for a little peace of mind! now back to studying :)
19/30 first take. Will come back to this after a week.
You are a blessing man
Got 29/30 what stumped me was the Amorphous question. I did not know the meaning of pragmatic, i had the urge to google but I didnt do it as you had said in the video its best to avoid dictionaries or just searching the meaning as its cheating. When i thought about the answer I realised that vague suit it because amorhpous means that it changes a lot or is not constant and the word vague fit the meaning more
Thanks!
thankyou for this!
got 30/30...Thanks Greg
GregMat! You are the bomb! I have taken the GRE twice before now and made 159 in verbal each time (mostly due to my lack of vocabulary knowledge). Well, for the past two months, I have been studying my butt off, which has included watching your (amazing) videos and going through your wordlist via Quizlet amongst other things (ETS books, Manhattan Prep 5lb. for quant., etc.), and tonight, I got 29/30 on this quiz! I am so freaking excited! My test is on Friday (six days from now), so hopefully my grade on this quiz does not ;) belie ;) my performance on the real GRE! Thank you for all you do!

Hey! I got an idea how to remember "puerile". It starts with "pu". "Puberty" also starts with "Pu". Anything which ends with "ile" generate connotes an actionable thing, e.g., "fertile" means - a land on which you can grow crops easily. Similarly, pu**ile may be remembered as something which can do something which teenagers going through puberty can do - which stereotypically suggests a lot of childish things. I hope that helps :)
22/30 not bad, ok I'll study and attempt part 2 in a week!
29/30 , just studied the gregmat list 2 days ago.
I am prepping for GRE. Just wanted to know if the vocabs section gets updated every year?
thanks a lot, a great source of learning :tulip:
so useful
It's awesome! But I didn't find lesson #23. Is it missing or just disappeared? Anyway, Thank you very much, Greg! You're an awesome tutor.
I got 27/30. ❤️❤️❤️
Havent started studying yet and plan on writting myGRE mid or end of this year. My score was a 14/30 ...guess im off to a good start....
27/30 ... but I haven't studied yet. This is the first test related thing I do........ I speak Spanish and that actually helps with some words.
I think question 13 is very confusing, since both "condescending" and "student-centered" are equally a good synonym for "didactic"
yeah, I'm in good foundation, have to go long way, work very hard.
30/30 but i have mastered your list and I am taking these tests to just keep in shape.Hope I get a 165 man, if I do i will donate 100 bucks to you right away! keep up the good work

i didnt know didactic meant in a condescing/patronizing way. I always associated didactic with a teacher. This was a new definition for me. A mnemonic of some sort to help out?
