Excess 14 is the fifth model of the new Beneteau Group brand. A brand dedicated to fast cruising catamarans. These boats are performance oriented, but very easy to sail and handle. We tested this model in the stunning setting of Ponza and found it very intriguing.
During the test we reached 13,5 knots, but afterwards, while sailing back to the harbour, our speed touched and held 14,5 knots. The boat we tested has been imported in Italy by Sailing in Italy, based in Nettuno, that is setting up a test centre for Excess boats. At present they have two models available, the Excess 11 and the Excess 14.
