I want to make in this in a multi color pattern...How many balls did you use for the body? And how many for the arms? I know the total for a medium is roughly 8 balls. So how were those divided? Roughly?...

So...does anyone know the yardage used? I can't find it in the video. 😐
I'm 70. I think I wore something like this in high school. It's lovely to see something that was so shapeless back then be in style. Sure takes the pressure off worrying about body types.
I've been knitting for years but I learned so much from watching your video - especially picking up stitches to make the sleeves and making an easy fold over neck. Love this sweater.
That looks beautiful! And the colour is perfect on you. Ive done some pattern testing before so I applied right away!
I loove everything: the kind of blue, the needles (I have the same and I agree with your comment on that), the shape of the sweater, everything. Thank you so much for this video.
What a cozy, cool, beautiful wonderful sweater!!!
Omgosh I absolutely love it!!! I have to try this one. I'm more of a beginner, well maybe an advanced beginner. I've only made a few items in knit, mostly because I'm a perfectionist and have ripped apart many items lol. I'm an avid crocheted and have been for years. This past year I learned to knit and have a love hate relationship with it lol, I want to know it all, right now hahaha. Anyway, I'm in Canada and we have alot of cool weather so this will be great. I like how the mock neck isn't tight to the neck and the shoulder detail is so pretty. The color you choose is beautiful! The only thing for me is I can't wear wool, and recently I quite using pure acrylic ... cotton, milk cotton, bamboo is my go to. Eeek, this comment is getting too long ;) Anyway, I'll definitely we giving this one a try and btw I've only just stumbled on your channel, Canadian hugs, Sunshine

This is cool! And coincidentally I started a seamless crochet sweater on Friday, so I was especially excited to see this video!
So excited about this pattern. I applied to test knit! Whether I get to test knit it, or not, I have the perfect yarn already in my stash and can’t wait to get started!
This is so fun to watch, the steps looked easy and the finished project looked beautiful. Love to make one with the lightest pink available for my daughter. She might need one when she fly to colder country. Thank you for this tutorial. Love your video as always. 🥰
The clearest instructions I could find on how to match up the folded collar. Thank you so much!!
I really love this pattern! (The neckline and shoulder details are just...everything.) Curious though about the size measurements/ease and about how many yards of yarn this requires!
I’m obsessed with this sweater design.
It is freezing here in New York and I really would love to make this for myself (and maybe a few friends)! I absolutely love the blue color--it is BEAUTIFUL!! It looks beautiful with your hair!! Thank you for this lovely video, Bethany! I can't wait to get started! And seamless mock neck sweater is better for this!!
Can't wait for this pattern! My yarns are ready.
I’m learning to knit. Complete beginner. I love this jumper. Also looks great without the sleeves.
It's such a beautiful piece and the colour 🥰❤
Just found your account a few minutes ago! I'm going to purchase this pattern and it's going to be my first ever knit sweater! SO excited for this one. The 2x2 knit and the balloon sleeves are SO flattering! Wonderful work. I'm excited to start on it!
Hey! I went to apply to test - I love this design! - but I couldn't find exact measurements for different sizes. Not sure if I missed them, but exact measurements are very helpful for me, as I vary between a M, L and XL between different designs!
I'm completely crazy about this design. it's so beautiful and different 💜💜💜 tnks for that
this is absolutely gorgeous omg
I love this new design of yours, it’s so beautiful!! 😍
I LOVE this sweater! I especially love the neck as it's oversized and good for someone like me who has broad shoulders. I will check out this pattern on your website. Thanks!
I love it!! Buying this pattern for sure!
I’m definitely trying this. I also liked the unfinished sleeveless version, too.
Love the sweater! Perfect for the colder days 😍 I applied but I wasn't sure about the size, since I like oversized, I went for L! I hope I'll be able to test it 🤞🏼I'm excited to see the measurement and material needed :)
Love the colour and have been wanting to try a raglan jumper! Have already applied!
This is so cute I will make this today it self 💙💙💙💙
So pumped to try this out! It looks so cozy
I looove that shoulder seam! And the color is beautiful as well :o

omg so beautifulllll
Luv the collar 👍🏻🙏🏻
Applied right away!!!
Hello, I have, so excitedly, applied to be one of your test knitters as I absolutely love your sweater! The size Ive chosen is XS.
I would love to test this pattern! I hope my application is accepted :) I love the idea of doing different color collar and sleeve ribbing.. :)
I have purchased the pattern and was wondering if you could go into a little more detail on separating and joining the body.. also making the arm holes. Thank you for the lovely pattern!!! This is my first garment
PLEEEEAAASSSEEEEEE DO A PATTERN!!!!! THIS JUMPER IS SO PRETTY!!!😍😍😍😍
This is gorgeous! And I loved seeing how happy and satisfied you are with your project, really made my day! I would totally apply to test knit but I have some deadlines already, I definitely will apply for the next time because I love your patterns :) Oh and quick question, would you advise doing a provisional cast on for the neckline, or does picking up the regular cast on stitches from the neckline make for a sturdier edge?
@minnie2410
2 жыл бұрын
I’ve tried both methods and knitting the cast-on loop together with the live stitch does make for a sturdier edge that also lies differently against the line of the neck. I’d recommend this method over PCO, but in the end both work just fine and you should pick the one that you like the look of more, I think :)
I applied!! I am a legally blind knitter. I am willing to make any size. Thanks. ❤️ Your chunky styles have already inspired me. I’m on my 2nd chunky sweater.
Amazing sister
So cute! The sweater reminds me of mabel pines lol
I love each and every of your work. So so cute. I a new. Beginner knitter and am currently working on my first sweater for my 1 year old baby. I was wondering however how you do your sleeves. They are so puffy and perfectly sinched around the wrist. I would love to learn to do that if you have tips . Thank you so so much ♥️
Such a cute jumper! To try on garments I usually use these plastic wires that I thread onto the needle itself and just drag the whole project on the wire. It is super simple and takes no time. Not sure what they’re called in English (mask wire, knit wire, something like that?), but they are brilliant and absolutely worth the money! They save me so much time and it’s easier to try on the garment multiple times during the process.

For anyone interested, I think the wire referenced is elastic cord. Thanks for this suggestion...that's exactly what I was thinking of!
The perfect sweater, when do you share the pattern? Would love to try it out
I have like the same kind of yarn in a different shade of blue, I just bought it than found this video looking for sweater tutorials:)
I would love to test this soooooo much! I'm an Xs size :)
Ooh, that's so CUTE! I want one. I want to apply to be a test knitter, but I'm afraid it would take me too long to be of any use to you. I've been knitting for years, but I didn't have the confidence to try a sweater until this year. So far so good, but I don't know even half of these techniques yet. I think I'd rather polish up my skills and help you test knit something in the future.

Hi!! Been knitting for more than a year now, and from my personal experience, test knitting has been the one thing that made me progress quicker than anything! I feel like you are still in your comfort zone with a range of people experimenting just like you, and helping you, but also trying out new things & techniques, with some useful guidelines (like the pattern!) xx
Thank you!! Is possible ti have a chunky sweater open in a front with a v collar? Thank you darling from Italy
sorry if this is dumb but how do you switch from knitting in the round to knitting the front and back separately ? do you switch to two separate needles and two skeins of yarn ?
i agree that petite can be confusing and might automatically turn away some people who may think it’s only for petite people or something like that. seamless makes sense because it’s knit all together! i love love love this design and i’m so excited for it to be released as a pattern! :0)
Hi! This sweater looks really cute! I would like to testknit but I'm unsure which size would fit me. My bust is 87cm.
Looking for a link to the shoulder seam.thx I like the neckline on this.👍
this is so beautiful! i love that shoulder!!!!! wish i could be a test knitter but baby has spent way too much money on yarn lately. perhaps next time

Is there any other video tutorials that would help show separating the body panels? Clearly other knitters have found success in this pattern but I could not be more confused. Please let me know if there’s a video that shows what you mean about slipping the stitches to a spare needle and then casting off. Thank you
Hi. I’m making your seamless mock neck sweater using your pattern and I don’t know how to cast off the 2 raglan stitches to start working on the back panel. Could you please help me?
Could one replace the yarn with lion brand wool ease thick and quick or is it too thick?
Hello ! Could you please make this a turtleneck winter dress/ sweater? 🥺 I am dying for a winter dress and this kind of crochet and fabric is my favorite on KZread! I wish you would take my suggestion. Thank you🥰❤️
Hello! I was gifted some yarn for Christmas, and purchased the pattern for this sweater on your etsy! However, the yarn is a much lighter weight. After doing a test swatch and blocking, however, the new gauge is EXACTLY double in row/stitch count (10cm/24 stitches and 10cm/30 rows). My question is, would the raglan and increase stitches ALSO be doubled? I think so, but this is my first sweater, so I'm second guessing myself, haha.
And another question , for joining in the round, what length should the needel and the cord have? I should cast on for the size M.
Would you be able to do color work with this pattern? like intarsia?
How did you do the increases without making holes?
Hi! I really wanted to buy this pattern on etsy, but it's not longer there, any change I can still purchase it?
I'd love to test, could you please tell me how much yarn I need and size measurements? Thanks 😉
Thank you for this patterns. I realy enjoy this kniting moments. Is anyone try to knit this sweater this the "wish" yarn from drop design? I made the v vest whith this yarn and i m so glad of the result. Thanks
This is so beautiful! I have a bunch of this yarn already and curious if i have enough to knit this! How many balls approx did you use? If i have enough I'll look into purchasing your pattern:) (Challenging myself to use up the boxes of yarn i have before buying more haha)
what size cable did you use?
Can you go more into depth about the needle set you used? I've been looking for an interchangeable needle set with good size range and was wondering about these!
Hi! Can u give me the link for the circular needles set? ^^
What do you do to line a sweater to make it better for cold weather? Can you also make it waterproof? Basically, for Really Cold Weather like California or Canada
I live in Arizona and would love to knit this in a lighter weight yarn than shown. Is it possible to adjust the pattern to accommodate lighter weight yarn?
I have bought the pattern but I still have problem with knowing how to make the round shape collar. Is there a video for that?
So beautiful Mam I'm from Nepal
just a suggestion for next time cause I have the same Lykke set as you, they have the stoppers yes, but they also have a tool that came with the little needle to extend the wires, that way you can add one and see how wide it is without slipping the stitches. Probably takes way less time! :)

OMG WHAT
I am so lost. Im trying to figure out how to bind off the last 2 raglan stitches on the front panel and I cannot figure out what to do
Hi, can i have a link where you bought ur needles… thanks
Hello, I don't know if I will be able to find any help here. But how do we cast off two raglan ? 😩
Can you recommend a set of circular needles cheap and good please
Is there a way to make it longer so its not cropped?
What other yarn can be use on the sweather?
I would love to have a written instructions!!
How many skeins did you end up using?
I want to know where are your needles from
I purchased the pattern and made a size Medium. This is the first sweater I've made and it was great for a more advanced beginner. I have a long torso and arms, so I made those parts of the sweater longer than the pattern suggested. Additionally, the arm holes seemed a little small to me and I was worried about it being tight, so I made them larger, picking up 60 stitches instead of 48. Because my sleeves were wider, I also did my decreases more gradually over 6 rounds at the end of the sleeves. With the extra length for my height and additional stitches in the sleeves, I still only needed 700g of yarn (rather than the 800g suggested in the pattern for size M). As a minor critique, the pattern was a little confusing when it came to splitting the raglan stitches for the body panels. In the video, the raglan stitches on each side were divided so that one is on the front, and one is on the back panel. However, the written instructions had one side put both stitches on either the front or back. This threw me for a doozy, but I figured it out :) Thank you so much for sharing! I'm thrilled with how it came out. I really love the style of the balloon sleeves. It looks like something I could've purchased in a clothing boutique.

@@erinacooper4731 I ended up following the written directions and I put both the raglan stitches on one side to the front and the other two on the back. This made the directions more clear for casting them off before moving onto the arm holes.

@@nicolekulakowski7156 Hi, sorry to bother you, I'm almost at this point. She says in the pattern to knit form SM1 (beginning of the row) to SM2 et SM3 and take those off, but the beginning of the row is in the middle of the front or back pannel? so should I knit or just pass my needles to the SM2? cause if I knit, won't I have like half a row knitted? maybe it'll make sense when I do it, but at the moment, it's all unclear in my head haha. Also, how do you know wich side should be front and wich should be back pannel? thank you very much pauline

How many wools do we need to use
Hello, i would love to test knit this sweater! My most comfortable sweater size is a mens S, would that be an S or an M in your chart?
Hello! It’s a really pretty sweetheart, also I was wondering if you can give the name or the link of the needles that you showed on the video, thanks in advance
Hi! I bought your seamless mock neck sweater pattern and I have some questions. I am a beginner knitter, I have only knitted few socks, headbands and stuff and this project would be my first sweater. First issue I have is the gauge - seems like I need bigger needles than 8mm (sadly have to buy those, the set I've got ends with 8mm :( ) so I wonder - does that mean that I should go one size up even with the smaller needles you used for the neck? And another question, I haven't found it in the pattern but how long should the cable be? Anyways, love how the sweater looks! And to be honest, I think that the blue goes stunningly with your hair. Maybe you'll get used to the color and wear it :) have a happy new year!
What size of the neddle that you use? 🌻
