Coming from a person who crochets instead of knitting, this is witchcraft!! The way you can just create an entire sweater is amazing. Forever in awe of those who can knit!

I'm 20 and I've been crocheting since I was 11 or 12, I tried to learn knitting maaaaany times and it's so hard and frustrating holy moly

@@okruszeklukeya2806 Which way did you try to learn? :) There are many ways to knit, english style, continental, combination, flicking, portugese and a few others still. If you still wanna keep learning it, maybe check if it was just the knitting style you tried that made it weird for you? Kind of like pencil hold vs knife hold crochet. I knit continental and crochet with a knife hold, pencil hold has never worked for me and i think i would have given up on knitting if it was english i was taught first :3 I don't know them by heart anymore, but there are a few channels here doing good explanations of knitting, iirc Very Pink Knits is one of them.

@@okruszeklukeya2806 I knit continental method as well. My mom taught me when I was 6. Learned it in half an hour. It’s way easier than what the lady was doing in the video. You don’t need a crochet hook to cast on either. The video was making things way more complicated than they should be. I taught a friend in high school in 15 minutes during our lunch hour. The next week I showed her how to make the braid cable in 5 minutes using Continental method.

There's a lot of shame others want to give us. But they can't make you do anything. I knit to escape the pressure. You can, too. Don't let another person rule your experience of life, or time.
Everything about this video was beautiful. The music, the life lessons, the editing and of course, the sweater. I hope you make more videos like this.

I never thought I'd cry to a knitting video... but I did, and I just want to say thank you. I've been struggling to come to terms with the fact that I may have ADHD and I've been so hard on myself for failing to use my time the way I've wanted to in the day and collectively over the years. Knitting has always been something I've said if I could do forever, I would. I want to give myself that permission again because it truly makes me happy. Thank you for the reminder

Nothing is wasted. Time ill spent is not wasted, for the use becomes a lesson on the day you realize a better way to spend/use it. Just like money, fabric, books... You will learn to refine the activities/things you spend your time/money on to those activities/things that serve you best. And sometimes life is on a different schedule than you want, and things take longer to happen. Do not stress on it. Things happen in due time. And you will find that despite what you thought or want, things happen and come to you exactly at the best time. Forget being in control, it is an illusion. Be busy with what is at hand, and wait. And all will come with perfect timing. God will deliver, be it a teacher, a stirring within, or supplies, and His timing is perfect. You will not fear time when you find joy in every moment. Look around and behold the beauty that surrounds you. Seek it and thrive in joy, little sister. 😘💞💖

A piece of clothing that you make is nothing more valuable than buying five from machines from the store. And when they're out of fashion, you throw it away ... You put it aside ... You give it to someone else ... But you have been sacrificing more and more of your time and the work of your own hands is a more valuable gift to yourself or your loved ones. If everyone did the clothes themselves or something else props would not have so much pollution and so much garbage on earth. You are very skillful and I appreciate your work!
