Just saw this today. Went back ,way back 45 years. Had one, same color,318,auto,no air,but didn't need it. Thanks for the memories. Thanks for the ride.
I love these test drives. makes me feel young again :)
Love the Duster. Was my first car. 318 auto Gold Duster. Lot of great memories
We had a Dart 3 spd manual and a bench seat , yesterday when I was young.....
all your cars look sweet, dude. love the drive over, under carrage, camera view.
Dang I missed out, I remember those cars. I would have given you 20k for it. Love the Green paint and interior. Mine back in the day had a slant 6, with the same paint minus the cool factory rally rims. That was a running car. Love the early grill I thought they were the cleanest. Someone got a good deal!
Hendersonville is a nice town but we need to see a nice scenic country cruise Nick. ✌💛🤘
Beautiful car
Nice honest car.
That's a sweet ride and a nice deal

Right!😆
I like it 👍,sounds great and looks great
Like that one. Great cars, reliable, easy maintenance and repair for DIY'er.
My wife had a Duster with slant 6 an 3 speed she loved that car Great video Nick😎
Glad see it left pretty much factory
Good cruiser right there.
That s beautiful . you guys know how to pick em .
Beautiful original Duster. Mom's car. It would almost be a shame to change it but ya know that's it's destiny. A 340 and a 4 speed wouldn't be sacrilege but a Hellcat 6.2 liter and 8 speed would be awesome.

Imagine this car with the new Hellephant engine dropped into it!?. LOL I think that it would twist the chassis and or maybe even rip the rear axle right out of it if you punched it lol.. I believe that a 440 would go perfect in this one honestly, but at the same time I do like the original 318 because it's reliable and will last if taken care of properly.. Anyways I like your idea and would love to see that myself. 🍻
Nice clean car. Those Mopar rallye wheels are a real plus on this. PEACE
Love the Duster...wish it was a 4spd manual.....would be taking a strong look!

Strongly recommend power steering 💯👍
The height and angle of your camera at the start makes the cars look like scale models.
318 Indy engines were natural aspirated , fuel injection only, made over 800 reliable horsepower...gear drive cam. dry Sump, crankshaft ,magneto ignition...high compression.ported
My favorite is the demon 😈 340. They called them the big block killer.
It looks like mother mopar has been good to you guys!!!!!
Nick I know you guys are super busy. Waiting to see the walk around on the 74 Sundance. My first car was a 1973 Road Runner. Been waiting for a year to see something close at Maple Motors.
Power steering? My 73 stick shift didn't. Couldn't put up with it 😮😮😮
Great looking car, but we forget how weak the 318 was. He is flooring it just to pull into traffic.
I like it 👍
what a beauty man..

@@MapleMotorsNickSouthgate Awesome Nick! Camaro for me too!
So before shifting into second gear what's your speed and RPM?.. I've been in a 4spd but never a 3spd and I'm really curious.. Plus first gear has got to be full of torque I'm guessing.
Needs a 340 swap and she'll rip and kill some big blocks!

That Direct Connection 360 crate motor would definitely get the job done. 😉💯😉
Nice
That’s a ripper
mine was a 74 with a four speed 3 speed were for automatics
Another mopar guessin it wasn’t part of mr yellows collection
Man my first car - mine was an ugly brown and torn up interior but hey it cost me $700 and ran well even in the harsh Wisconsin winter
What is the least you’ll except? The car has some rust issues in the trunk and some gauge issues. Thanks! Other than that it’s a nice car.

How much of a down payment .and monthly payments are.
Plz get more 1969 ss Camaro 4 speed automatic transmission
She’s beautiful
my dad had one of those 1970 Valiant Duster 318 3spd manual with manual steering and brakes and no A/C it had manual door mirror only only one just the driver side door and it had front bench seat with center arm rest fully black out interior and the exterior was factory FJ5 green paint that is Plymouth Limelight green and for Dodge they call it Sublime green with the same code and my dad trade the original 3 spd man for a Hurst shifter A833 Overdrive 4 spd manual transmissons and did not do no upgrade on the engine and he got the car from 19mpg hw - 32mph hw after he change the trans and not the engine my dad left the engine all stock on his Duster and he install rear Gabriels Hi-Jackers air shocks with the 2 1/2 ft lift kit shackles on the back.
What no horn🎺
Get rid of the 318 slap in a 440

It would handle like crap with a big block. A 340 in these things would eat many big block cars in the day.

@@Warrior_Resisting_Colonialism If you set up the suspension right it would be alright. But to be fair it definitely would take some time to find that balance for sure. Someone said to me that it would be "cool" if someone put the new Hellephant engine in one of these and all I thought was that engine in this car even if you reinforced the body and frame, would just twist it like a pretzel and by the time you do all that it wouldn't be anything but a track car really. Me I like decent amount of horsepower without taking away the originality of the car. No roll cages etc etc just decent HP in a classic car. Nothing wrong with track made classics it's just not my thing. I like to cruise and if needed have a little bit of fun lol.
That was my first car 74 Duster 218 red with a black Landau roof anyone got anything close like to find another one
why would someone have a 3 spd. behind a V8?

I’ll be sure to keep on your page to see if you get one, I’m serious about buying one, I don’t know how to direct message you but I’d like to keep in contact with you so that perhaps I can purchase a car from you
What size V8 is in that car is it a 3:40 or 3:18

My favourite year model I don't like the color tho I fkn hate green white with BLK hood and chrome grill and dark tints and a 440 is a must 😃
Fix the speedometer.
