When I was 17, I bought a 1968 Firebird 400 with the non working hood scoops, no RPM on the hood, rare 3 spd Hurst on the floor, no middle console, no power steering, only drum brakes...and the rare Metallic Green, no vinyl roof, all green vinyl interior. Beautiful car...sold it in 1973 for, ready for this, $1800

I remember in 68 buying a 68 firebird, green and black. I didn’t get to ride it much because I got drafted and off I went toNam.That was a nightmare living in hell for a year, I rode it to Bragg when I came home. I love that old car.
Beautiful specimen from 1967. The interior is beautiful including the little torn area on the dash cover. The car sounds like it was tuned by a perfectionist. Also, I love that POV. It's exactly the POV from a person listening to the mechanic go over all the flaws. Also, you're an ambassador to Tennessee. Those country roads are so beautiful and American.

Worth every penny. Don't see them anywhere anymore.
67 Firebird nice color needs to tinker here and there I make it run like new , can't complain about the price 👍
Sport side view mirrors are a must on this car!
Now that is a fine ride!
Really awesome probably my All time favorite after 3 years of watching videos. Everything works as it should and everything looks awesome the car runs great only thing is the steering and that could be just tire pressure so really nice car wish I had the right credit I would totally buy this car right now. Congratulations to whoever gets this beautiful 67 firebird it's one of the nicest cars I seen in awhile... great job as always to the crew at Maple Motors for saving these beautiful classics.

Even with my credit in the 700s, I couldn't get approved for it lol. It's okay though. Keeps me focused on my 76 and 78 T/As. I just hope someone gets it that will love it as much as I would.

your comment is right on point I love this too and I ran away to the Philippines 32 years ago after my ex-wife ruined my credit but now I dont need any credit ........and living good here
I'd trade my Harley for that beauty
I would love a 1967 or 1968 firebird. ❤❤❤
That's a clean looking firebird
I had a 76 Grand Prix that color red with white interior back in 1987
it has a turbo 350 transmission, incorrect for a 67, the 350s came out in 1969, it would have had a turbo 400,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
All original love it
Keep the videos coming. My favorite car so far

I hear ya. I saw a few "in the front row". that looked sweet.Had a '68 396 SS back in '77/'78. Sadly ,I ran head on into a '77Cadilac lac lac. Almost lost my nose from hitting the steering wheel with my face.
Very nice car, the restoration of those cars is awesome. I love the V-8 engine´s sound.
That is a fine ride. Looks new! That will sell fast.

Firebirds have a better looking front end. I like the hood. The luvers on the quieter panel. But I do like the camero. My first car was 1966 Chevelle. Couldn't help but notice maple has a really nice 66 Chevelle.
I love your videos and your honesty on the cars, but this is probably my favorite car so far. The pornstar mustache is a little weird though.
Love this car! I applied for a loan to get it actually!
Nice (cop) stash you're sporting Nick
Neat 1st Gen Firebird only be original once luv the wau hood release open handle is & 7:01 Nick u where referring to a Dodge Magnum remember when I was in middle school when they first came out R/T is the best one they stop making them in 09.
Extended test drive with one of my favorite cars! Too bad it's out of my price range 😔 it sounds amazing
Always wanted on of these. I hope you get another. The price is not bad either.

Definitely worth the effort to do a do over. Colume shift and the lack of air dams on radiator support says this car was a 6 cylinder. That's fine, probably only reason it has survived 😁 Its a looker. Oh, FYI never slam car with a hood tach, mine shorted at like 3000 rpm and would run fine till you got to 3k then would cut out. It drove me crazy till I traced to tach. Cost like $200 to fix back in the 70's. Never slammed hood, just clicked it shut after that 😳

Had a 67 when i was 16 years old in 1986. That 400 had some miles on it,but would still smoke the tires. It was an auto with console shift. i didn't realize Firebird's or Camaro"s came with column shift.

@@fframer1 Yeah, usually on 6cyl cars and even some with bench seats. I've never seen column shift with 400 with hood tach. If this is all legit it's a rare car.

Nice car, the right color all the way around great! On another note get rid of the mustache , The Ron Johnson look went out in the late 80's I had one I looked back at old pic's yeah just not right! Peace & love brother! Lol
What an amazing looking '68 Firebird. Not fond of a blue engine, though.
Basically, you can start a renewal maintenance job. Bottoms of the doors and quarters. And where they sectioned the quarters. Let the mud dust fly.
Very nice car the seat or beak squeak and belt squeak would have to go and I’m sure bill from old man’s garage could get the carburetor lined out
One thing the Ford mustangs did right over Chevy and Mopar sport models . No column shifters, none on auto , on 3 on the tree
Pretty pretty

What's the engine size a 400 or 350? Looks like it says 400 on the side of the hood scoops but you can't go by that with a car this old.
