Tesla Terafactory Texas Update

Hey guys, it’s Randy! Today’s footage shows new major activity happening all along the east side of the factory and we now have a better idea of the things they’ll be concentrating on over there directly outside of the building. We still have other great updates in the areas currently having major work done that we've previously seen that are also pretty significant as well. Lastly, you’ll notice this footage is taken much later in the day and just as a heads up, that will most likely be the case through the end of October. We get some good lighting in a very narrow window of time and we see the night shift parking lot with a good amount of vehicles present, so there’ll always be something actively going on for us to see, as shown in today’s video, so let's jump right to it.
Here are today’s key takeaways:
- The north end shows the northern gap has now had the majority of the steel decking applied to the roof above this section. Besides a few thin lines that need to be filled where there are section transitions and the one large area at the northern edge, this will be finished in the next day or 2 and we could see concrete or insulation panels applied soon after.
- The GigaPress area shows that structural steel for the roof gap has been completed and more is going into place along the northern edge. We can also see that all of the support poles used to brace the concrete columns have also been removed. Underneath, a massive amount of rebar has been added to the new GigaPress and surrounding area foundation, which looks like the amount the others had just prior to them having concrete poured, so it’s likely we could see that happening here in the next day or 2 as well. Going back to the roof, a look from above shows the progress of the steel decking has crossed the halfway point from the south of the gap to the northern edge.
- The east side of the BIW section shows that concrete is actively being poured to the forms we last saw for parking lots and miscellaneous ground areas on this side. They’ll most likely finish this pour of the entire section, given there are a few concrete trucks waiting out of the frame and others driving on roads headed this way on the outskirts of the worker parking lot. On the south end of this section, we see major prep work being done for the road that will be placed here and something really big was just being moved into the building as we can see at the door opening.
- The south end of the southern gap shows the drilled shaft work nearing the south end of the pit. The opposite end shows an army of footings and columns being built heading towards the south end and we can also see the large blue panels we saw on the truck previously have been installed with many more soon to come. Lastly in this section, we can see the latest work on the drainage pipes south of the southern gap as open ends of the pipe now run east and west.
- Over by the river and bridge in the southwest corner, we can see the progress of connecting all of the pipes together and extending them closer to the river.
- The GA west side shows the wall panel installation has almost reached the south end and will most likely do so in the next 2 days would be my best guess. Checking on the status of the new taller windows being installed up north shows they have made significant progress with installing the ones available and there looks to be only one container with windows currently remaining, so hopefully more can arrive while these are being installed instead of the crew having to wait a short amount of time for them to get here.

I worked in an Assembly plant for 30 years and can attest that wherever the closest parking lot is to where you work inside could be a very long walk, long as in a mile then the mile back after work and of course those certain few that just have to make a quick run to their cars during the lunch break for....unknown reasons.

Good choice to make videos at the end of the day. Looks like the test track will be between the highway and the western perimeter road. That’s smart because vehicles passing on the highway can see new cars being tested and that will pique interest. Considering the locale and its culture, I fear for those huge windows. You would know best because you are there; do the local road signs have bullet dings? Let’s hope they have cameras to identify miscreants.

Interesting to see on-site “after hours” activity. My guess is lots of concrete pouring and asphalt paving is done then. Also a bunch of prep work for the day crews happens then. At some point later in October you will run out of daylight but as we’ve seen in other videos we get to see whats happening in the building with the lights turned on..

I often wonder what the following people are thinking when they watch your videos: - Jim Farley (President of Ford Motor Co) - Mary Barra (CEO of GM) - Herbert Diess (CEO of Volkswagen) - Akio Toyoda (CEO of Toyota Group) - Carlos Tavares (CEO of Stellantis) - Toshihiro Mibe (MD of Honda) - Ola Kaellenius (CEO Daimler) - Harald Krüger (CEO BMW) I think perhaps they are collectively shitting themselves.

@@DavidJohnson-tv2nn Facts say otherwise... GM, Ford and Stellantis have been closing and "shuttering" factories for a few years now. A couple of weeks ago, Ford closed down its entire operation in India, and GM did the same back in 2017. GM has also shuttered several factories and stopped making several once-popular models. GM also sold its entire European operation to FCA (now Stellantis) in late 2018 for $2 billion - then instead of using that cash to invest in EV technology, gave it all to shareholders. Nissan is on its last legs, and Ford can barely service its $156 billion debt pile. GM's debt is rising rapidly while sales are falling almost as fast. So... even if all those archaic CEO's aren't watching these videos, they must all be wondering how they are going to avoid running their companies into the dirt.

@@brunosmith6925 David Johnson meant to say "they *publicly* disagree with you." Because, of course, denialism that there are any problems at all is the only course of action when you are about to crash your corporation into the ground. Avoiding shareholder lawsuits is the thing.
