Tesla Model 3 Child Seat Test

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Because you asked for it we tested the Model 3 and it come out with flying colors in our child seat test. Thanks to generous legroom and headroom figures you should even be able to put a rear facing child seat behind average adults up front.

The extend2fit is a lot more compact. A child can easily rear face to 5 6 or 7 years old in that car with that seat.

Great video. I did hear that you said the center spot is the safest place for the car seat. I agree with you. But why does Tesla say that the center is not the safest and instead they suggest installing the car seat behind either the passenger or the driver. Can you help me with that please. Thank you.

Would you possibly consider doing a review or replying to this comment about potentially 3 boosters in the back of a model 3 please (for example, 3 mifold seats or even 3 traditional backless boosters)? I don't see any youtube videos that show 3 booster seats across the back or how difficult it would be for 3 kids to buckle themselves into boosters if there were 3 across the back. The closest I've seen to this is a 2 booster seat configuration. Would 3 fit? Would it be too tight for children to buckle themselves. I've seen 3 adults squeezing into the back and some combinations of traditional carseats, but no videos or even forums with pictures showing 3 booster seats in the back of a model 3. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help on this. We're too far away from a showroom to test this out ourselves right now but are really considering a model3, perhaps with 3 mifold seats.

Fixed headrest is automatic fail for me. No way to talk tether, makes the car seat less safe overall because of the pitch forward or without able to lay fully backward gives it an additional breaking point. It is not designed to sit like that.
