    It's a perfect case of elite projection. He doesn't maintain or even wash his own car, he has staff for that, so it doesn't matter to him that rain rusts it. It also looks like a 12 year old's drawing, which tells you about his maturity. Maturity is something you gain by overcoming challenges, which is impossible when you don't face any because you were born rich.

Do certain bloodlines still hold power within our current government system? And if all US presidents are somehow united in blood, does that mean our leaders are really elected by the people? Or does that mean they’re selected by few? ---All of the US’s “elected” Presidents have been related to King John of England, descendant of Charlemagne. Supposedly there are 7 “mountains” of global society-Arts and Entertainment, Education, Economy, Family, Government and Military, Media and Religion. The entire truck is a joke from a design standpoint, but one of the most egregious design failures is that the lightbar at the front isn't the headlights. Those are tucked up in the small gap above the bumper... the bar that lights up is just there for... looks I guess?

  • @hempelcx

    @hempelcx

    10 күн бұрын

    There are regulations about what can constitute headlights and a light bar doesn't qualify. So, in order not to lose the look, they made the lightbar purely aesthetic. In terms of bad design decisions that's definitely not one of their worst offenses. Other trucks (like the F150 Lightning) have something similar.

    As someone who was a fabricator, welder and now I am an engineer, and my speciality is stainless steel. The fact you get stainless steel to stain and corrode is quite easy. I wish people would realise that it is quite annoying material to deal with when it comes to visuals - there is a reason we add layer of chrome on the surface. Go get a fresh sheet of 316L and slap your sweatty greasy palm on it and leave it for few hours in sunlight. The only way that palm print is coming off is with pickling or electrochemical treatment (well obviously you can use abrasives to remove it... but you also literally remove quite bit of basematerial). This manufacturing genious didn't seems to bother consulting ANYONE with even basic experience in working with stainless steel materials.

It's a loophole that lets car makers sell you obnoxiously over sized vehicles (they're also exempt from some of the stricter emission requirements) that cost them like 5-10% more to manufacture than a regular sized vehicle, then charge you 70+% more, while having a vehicle that's actually pretty shit as an actual pick up truck and doesn't fit in most parking bays. The beds in modern trucks are smaller than their older models while the cab is bigger. Even on these gargantuan SUV's the internal space is actually pretty crap for something so large. I like how this steel coffin is vulnerable to rain, sunlight, rugged terrain, the oils secreted from your palms, and mean words, but it will surely slice another car in half when the acceleration pedal which was affixed with glitter glue slides off and wedges itself, making the car plow through traffic, annihilating a family of four. Really, it’s durable and reliable where it matters, in inflicting harm to everyone outside the vehicle.

    I love how the cyberpunk dystopia was originally supposed to be a parody and a warning to society about what could happen and what shouldn't happen...and then dudes like Elon are like "oooh yea that looks awesome! lets do that" - NO ELON that was supposed to be the BAD THING we are trying to avoid.

    As a huge fan of dystopian scifi, this is what irritates me the most! The corporate Hollywood and entertainment business have turned cyberpunk into something cool, something to aspire for, something to head towards, when in truth that is precisely the total opposite of what dystopian scifi's original intent was; cyberpunk was supposed to be a critique of the capitalistic society, but I guess we should have known that the capitalists were able to turn even that to their own advantage. Sigh. The bootlickers are so gullible.

    As an former engineer, the design is very obviously dangerous to pedestrians, other drivers and passengers. The stainless steel is neither high-tech, nor practical in any way whatsoever. It's a very common material and stupid idea for a car. It's a sci-fi cosplay version of a vehicle.
