I don’t think the new face looses any identity. To me it feels much more intelligent in a stoic sort of way. With the new led graphic in the headlights I actually feel more emotion in the eyes. It’s a very confident and *content* face.

As a fan of Aston Martin I never once associated the two. The front end of the model 3 has always been a disaster... The only place I've seen it work is on the Fiat 500,and even then it looks rubbish

It's a home run. Other than the steering wheel and gear/turn signal stock situation

I have mixed feelings on the front end. It does kind of look cleaner, and more modern (albeit more generic). But the Tesla ducktail front end is relatively distinctive on all of their non-cybertruck models. The new front end seems inspired by the Tesla Roadster prototypes/concepts. If they follow suit with updating the Model S, X and the eventual Roadster, I could see this less curvy, horizontal design language becoming recognizable as Tesla in the future.

Just another generic Uber that happens to be fast..... Whoop-Dee-Doo

The duck nose (fake blind grill) was what I always hated about the Model 3 styling.

I love the new model 3 Performance. I am not sold on new lights, but perhaps they will grow on me. I do agree the duck-faced bumper on the older model looks much better. The new model 3 Performance looks sleeker from the side and rear profile.

With all the little refinements Tesla has done to the new Model 3, it looks like they've finally created a fully matured product that's right up there with established automakers.

FFS, who, ever, drives ANY car more than a few miles over 100 mph, other than short stretches on an Autobahn? The concentration required to drive safely, not to mention, how do you handle cars in front? The top speed is just a cool spec and for that odd trip to the track. Battery drain is a NON issue people, stop bringing it up. And you're going to burn through gasoline in an ICE vehicle.

It’s all the cabin, the cabin is so visually tall it makes the car look bubbly like a lot of EV’s

I'm with you on the front end, I think they made the headlights and front bumper styling to generic vs the previous design. But the new performance look is definitely a step in the right direction. And go check out Unplugged Performance, they just released renders of their carbon fiber body kit for the new Performance, and it looks fantastic. Its available in pieces so you can add to make it even more aggressive. I really like it, much more on par with the other sport sedan designs like the M3 and RS4.

Once the quarter mile time is revealed, things will get interesting 😊

The wheels are all 20s just the back are wider. In other markets the car comes on 19s all around with very similar styles

I don't think the original Tesla looks better, the newline still looks like it cuts through the air, the look is mean and something i'd like to see more of in a cheaper electric car I'm an artist too and I love this disagreement because I do agree on your points but visually the new one looks so fast! and to me the new design just works.

It’s definitely not Ugly. I do think the front on these Tesla’s need a bit more pop to them. I know it doesn’t need a grill like an ICE car, but we need something. It gives me this feeling that they left it blank because they ran out of money lol! Overall nice compact sporty car. Also, great value for the power!

I have both a M3P and and 450HP gas car(2023 Mustang GT) and there is no comparison between the two. The Tesla will smoke the Mustang.

@@efwaves4665consumer reports has debunked your comment about repair costs. Insurance costs me the same as my previous ice car. We charge at home when the car is not in use, much better than going to a gas station continuously. By every conceivable metric, it’s a better car than a small turbocharged automatic. Get with the times. Not sure what you’re on about recycling. It’s cheaper to recycle a battery than to mine the minerals. You can’t recycle gas.
