Yes, they have always. People love for lust and violence is the reason for all this. They will glorify violence and lust because beneath the skin everyone wants to be lustful and violent.

A short but wonderful narration of piracy in the Caribbean. And quite refreshing to hear something other than the usual topics like politics/economy/wars/ etc. 🙂
The Best Newcaster .You know how to capture the audience so well and effortlessly
As a Caribbean man Palki 🇹🇹, I can identify with this sweeping report 😁. You've lifted the curtains on the Pirates and their sordid doings in the Caribbean together with the conflation of European powers of the Day. You've explained so extremely much is so very few words and pictures. Thank you for History lesson 301. You're liberating minds by your helping to remove the many veils that shroud our past. With the understanding you're reporting, we stand blessed for your/Vantage noble News reports. Do stay in good health, and continue to educate and inform our troubled world. Blessings³!
'Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum!" Very good history lesson from Palki Sharma. This is part of the shameful history the Brits secretly flaunt! (They even named a naval fighter- bomber the 'Buccaneer' in the sixties😅)

Thank you, really enjoy your programs and appreciate all your hard work!
I really enjoyed these Flashbacks. I love Palki 's reporting. I wonder 🤔 if this is where we got the term "Morgan Dollars" ?
Palki Ji - you are great, God bless you and your family, always.
Palki Sharma you were born to be the best jounalist in history of humankind, you are my favorite, i have being following you.. your style of broadcasting is so interesting and unbiased, clear and catchy to listen
There is talent and then there is you woman 👏👏👏👏, you are simply Born for it, to light up the world and tell the story exactly how it is.
Awesome #Flashback Series By #Palkiau educating even Septogenerian like me who missed facts due to Wrong History Taught
'Captain' Jack Sparrow!!☠️ Thank you anyway for the valuable information ❤
I read a novel Captain Blood by Rafael Sabatini, as a school child. What is being said in Flashback today sounds a lot like the story I read then.❤

About Pirate Morgan, ?
⚓️5:58 that's too strange ☠ Interesting topic , Palki 😸
🎉❤ She is the only one of the few right now who can broadcast heartfelt news in the world of online news. Her popularity reflects the admiration and respect shown to India by the nations of the world, although it is mutual with the West and Russia. The world loves India because of what she has done and shared, which shows India's intimacy, solidarity, and aggressive bravery in protecting mutual national interests and the truth for the rest of the afflicted world. Her natural, authentic Indian image reflects Indian beauty, intelligence, and great Indian character. Calm, peaceful, and religious, but aggressively sensitive to protecting the truth and its dignity. India became the leader in information, unity, and empowerment for the world's nations, boosting Prime Minister Modi's objectives and showing India's modest statutes to the world. We really love listening to her. We and the world have been watching her again and again to feel the presence of India in presenting the facts and truth in this generation of fake news and insincere journalism in world news broadcasting. Thank you, FIRSTPOST. Thank you, Vantage team. Also, thank you, Ms. Palki, for her gorgeous, lovely smiles and for always staying amazingly stunning and elegantly beautiful. God bless you, your family, and your team. God bless Firstpost and Vantage! God bless India. God bless the beautiful people of India. God bless us all.🎉❤🥰🙏🙏🙏

That is why some Spanish ships called the islands "Islas de Ladrones" (Isle of Thieves).
A privateer is a private mercenary usually working under government covered private corporation instruction - sometimes directly employed by the King. When the government orders unjust piracy, the government becomes a pirate enterprise. A pariah.
Well explained. Keep going. We all love you.❤
I expected you would name sambhaji angre as he was the commander of the maratha navy but was considered as a pirate by the british he is also shown in the pirates of the caribbean.

With Arnab and Palki, we have a new generation of correspondents who speak good English and their mother tongue, as well. They are proud of their brown skin, in fact Palki can put many European models to shame. They are proud Bhaarateeya and not old Indians.

Okay but it dont like Arnab. He is just there to please old people watching news(I mean his shows act as entertainment for old people) . Just screams, useless quarrels, nothing more. On the other hand, palki is better, an inspiration to young journalists, her presentation is on point, bold woman, etc
Wonderful piece as always by Palki...but the pirates of the Indian Ocean based in Madagascar...were much much worse...mostly based at Nosey Be peninsula at the top part of Madagascar..they sailed in Armadas bigger than those in the Caribbean and raided towns along coastlines especially South India...e.g. Hairy Mary was a commodore in charge of a Fleet...these pirate armadas even attacked navy protected British, Dutch VOC and French convoys carrying valuable cargo from the Asiatic East around the Cape Town sea route...but the half caste French Madagascar Women were often sold as slaves and were bought in Cape Town amongst other places...as wives by the farmers there as white women were in very short supply...ironically becoming the ancestors of the later Afrikaner leaders there...

In addition to Piracy, Prostitution was at the heart of European colonization & slavery of natives across the world!! Prostitution of white European women across the world and especially in the Indian sub continent & Asia was rampant!!
Movie is a class act ❤
Anne Bonny reminds me of Assassin's creed Blackflag where she would sing for Edward Kenway on their partings
He found Bahamas ! No madam, he "discovered" Bahamas. There was special meaning to "discovery" and it was a christian doctrine propagated by the church and the Pope. Any christian man landing up in a new place not visited so far means he "discovered" it and that belongs to him. Something like Nehru "discovered" India. So far piracy is concerned the Church / Pope and all Royal houses of Europe had their own pirates under licence to loot and generate wealth for them. Royal houses used to issue licences with a share of loot until it became a problem for the state.
What would news be with out u Thank u

Edward Teach aka BlackBeard was born in Spanish Town Jamaica from a wealthy Sephardic Jewish family.
Pirates, buccaneers, corsairs & c. like in the famous "Pirates of the Caribbean" and "Sandokan: The Pirates of Malaysia". 🏴☠ Ready to sail the oceans! Boarding! ⚔ 🌊 Even anime like "One Piece" and video games like "The Pirate: Caribbean Hunt" dedicated to their sometimes legendary figures. There are also women in piracy (rarely treated) like the fierce and courageous Anne Bonny.
Super 😅
Short snd sweet,if this continued girl an hour, wouldn't been boring though

BlakBeard Rum is really good one in Cayman we drink

Everyone thought Piracy ended in 20th century. But by the end of 20th century, then came . . . . . Internet.
Am pretty sure that Palki Sharma just finished watching Pirates of the Caribbean prior to making this video. Nothing personal Palki, just good business.

The British and Americans are still sponsoring modern day buccaneers like M23 armed group in DR Congo by financing Rwanda who finances M23 for precious metals like cobalt and coltan. So Europeans haven't really changed their method.
@nathanvladmir5554
11 ай бұрын
@Play Google that's because the media hardly talks about it, over 5 million people have been killed since the late 90s by Rwanda and Uganda for cobalt and coltan, coltan used in TVs, cellphones, electronics whilst cobalt is used in aeroplanes, electric car batteries and weapons. DR CONGO has 70% of global coltan reserves and 80% cobalt reserves. It also has significant amounts of gold, diamond(would be the world's largest producer of not for illegal mining), oil, natural gas, rubies, copper, lithium, timber, cocoa(chocolate), coffee, a dam that can electrify 30% of African population (Inga dam) and 85% of Congolese land is arable.

The age of pirates was the colonial system.
Volume+ plz
Yo ❤
im surprised she didnt say there were indian pirates... lmao
I’m not sure that the pirates were any worse than the colonisers who brutally ruled the new found colonies. You ought to have named Francis Drake, the privateer of Elizabeth I period who also became the first admiral of the British navy.
*Question:* How Pirates ruled the carribbean? *Answer:* Using "The Pirate Bay" and through "torrents."
Thanks for the lesson 😊
