Fun fact: The guy playing Art, David Howard Thornton (a professionally trained mime) wanted to make the dck cutting scene worse. He wanted to take the severed dck, blow it up like a balloon, feed it to the guy, then continue torturing him, but the director said that would be "too disturbing". The girl in the bedroom got scapled, her arm ripped off, her eye gouged out, her skin peeled off, bleach and salt rubbed into her wounds, and completely shredded, but apparently a guy getting his dck cut off is "too disturbing".

my mom met David Thorn at a horror convention. She claimed he was the nicest person...but he was in his Art the clown get up so she never went near him because he was so creepy. He just stalked the convention halls...creeping people out. He would even sneak up behind them and just stand there. Some of the actors that were at the convention didn't notice him until the fans point out, and they proceeded to lose their minds! God I wish I went.

I can imagine being 12 and having my mom be murdered and maybe crying like a baby but I suppose for him, it was much more unbelievably shocking than anything. Being there and hearing/watching about it are 2 different things and I can’t say I wouldn’t have the same reaction. Just throwing this out there it was confirmed by the director that in the first movie art was just a normal guy and expected to die when he shot himself. He had no idea he would survive and this only happened because the girl is more like a ghost/demon who revived him and dresses like him simply because she/it enjoys the chaos he causes, effectively making him immortal now. Also if you look closely the girl is not his first victim the last line on the paper reads "in a string of recent murders". Also her friends name was Allie not Annie lol another thing in the movie is "why didn't art just kill Sienna at the shop", in the movie Johnathan says that "it has to be at the carnival" due to something in his dad's book, that's all the explanation we get...

It also states the father had major brain damage and was abusive towards the end. Brooke states that you could hear the father's scream from a mile away, maybe explaining why Art doesn't talk.

Fun fact about Allie's death, realistically you'd die as soon as you were scalped or had bleach poured onto you. If not that, then you would've bled out long before Allie's mother arrived. Art basically had powers that prevented you from dying so that you could feel everything happening to you hence the reanimation of Allie once her mother enters the room. Pretty knarly stuff, I must say.

I got the impression that Art didn't kill the siblings when he had a chance because there was an implied connection between them. The fact that the dad obviously knew about Art, or what Art was to become, at first made me think that Art was going to turn out to be their dad, but that didn't happen, or at least not yet. There's a ton of implications that the brother and sister have something supernatural about them, but it doesn't really go anywhere. I guessing that we'll have a part 3 that will go more into this. As far as the random supernatural visions and abilities seem like out left field, but it fits if you know your slasher history. The first Terrifier was along the line of early slashers- low budget, gritty, and very grindhouse. Terrifier 2 feels like mid 80's to 90's slashers- relying more on supernatural elements, none of which are really ever explained, and much snarkier and sillier in tone and kills. T1 was Halloween/Friday the 13th; T2 is Nightmare on Elm Street and Chucky. If they follow this trend, T3 would have to be like Scream/I Know What You Did Last Summer- kind of self aware and a deconstruction of the slasher genre.

I think Art actually COULDN'T kill Sienna and her brother outside of the carnival because she's protected by whatever magic her dad put on her to kill Art. We actually see that when she drowns in the Clown Cafe. Doesn't count as in the Carnival, so she revives. Art may have known something like that would happen if he tried. Probably the same reason her mom gets taken out quickly and relatively painlessly- Art can tell the family's magic but may not know the details.

I have a feeling that Art is related to/is Sienna and Johnathan's dad. They made it a point to talk about how their dad had a brain tumor and it made him get abusive. Also, in the first scene they show him touching that wound on the back of the head. Either that or their dad drew him and he somehow came alive with some dark magic, considering how he is basically immortal and Sienna resurrects so magic exists in this universe

When he touches the back of his head , aka the bullet wound. That's when he realised he's immortal and that's why he gets super cocky in terrifier 2 and slaughters way more people. And I highly doubt art is their dad due to many reasons . - their dad died in a car crash and siennas friend knew their dad when he was alive. So they would have noticed some sort of resemblance in facial expressions exct. - it seems more logical that their dad brought art to life through his drawings somehow and that's the dads drawings were a way to warn sienna and Jonathan about it. Since he's dead and can't tell them himself. So there's a good chance art killed their dad in that "car crash"

The little girl clown goes by the name The Little Pale Girl, and while her origins/purpose aren't exactly explained, it's most likely that she is a demonic entity who is actually responsible for resurrecting Art and making him immortal. She then kinda partners up with him and takes the form of who was actually Art's very first victim, except in clown makeup. This can be supported by the glowing eyes, the supernatural abilities such as only being seen by Art and other important characters, the voice mimicry, and the fact that at the end of the movie she recovers Art's head, and he is once again resurrected by her shortly afterward. i know Elvis probably wont see this, but hopefully this clears up a little bit of confusion surrounding that character and explains how Art came back to life in the first movie. Art appeared to be so distraught before his death in Terrifier, compared to him mocking Sienna as she kills him in the sequel, because in Terrifier, *Art didn't know that he was going to be resurrected* (This has been confirmed by Damien Leone), so he was probably genuinely stressed when the police closed in on him, which drove him to game over himself right after taunting the police one last time, compared to his more boastful demeanor in Terrifier 2, where he even allows Sienna easier access to his neck before she decapitated him.

fun fact, annie's death scene where art pulls apart her hand and arm is actually a portrayal of a forced seperation of the ulna and radius bones in your forearm, which has never happened in recorded history even as a freak accident, but just the thought of the hand snapping in half, and the ligaments/tendons pulling the bones apart is absolutely horrendous and terrifying to think about. it shows how well the writers, directors, and producers have researched how the human body works. while the gore is perhaps overdone and unrealistic, all of the things art does to people could actually be used to commit torture in real life, and thats what makes it actually terrifying.

I watched this in a café, while eating Chinese food, it wasn’t a bad experience, but there were moments where I felt probably eating at the slow pace I’m eating while all of these gory scenes are playing out, won’t make me look sane in front of people.
