We had a foster dog too who blossomed instantly around other animals. He was so huge. 10 months old and already 45 kilos, yet so scared of everything. My husband had to carry him into the car to take him home. He refused to walk outside for a walk. A cat we had back then normally didn't care much about anything but she saw how this dog needed a guide in life, and she took that role from day one. She walked outside with him, and he lit up and went on walks as long as she was walking next to him. He was the only dog she ever came along for walks with. He ended up being adopted to a home that had a dog the same size as him. They ran around playing the day they visited us to see if the dogs would be a fit. He lived a good life with them.

Do you follow the channel Takis Shelter? He says, "let's go home now" all the time. He lives on Crete where a lot of people have their dogs on 4 foot chains without adequate food/water/shelter. Another person will call Takis and report the situation. He goes to take the dog into his shelter. A week ago he rescued a dog that is 19 years old and has never been off the chain. The poor dog cannot even straighten up because his dog house was not tall enough. He was named Elvis and now he is exploring the large property. His walking and spirit is improving. He is getting lots of love. Please go check it out!.🙂💕

I love German Shepherds. Trinity is still just a baby, so adorable.

Dogs have to be one of the greatest gifts God gives us as humans, seriously.

Poor girl was probably taken away from her family and was scared not knowing what to do. Im glad she found a new forever home.

My shepherd was like this when I got him. He had been left outside all day every day and fed very little. The original owners couldn't afford to feed him. He was 30lbs at 6 months old when I got him, he wouldn't let me touch him, and would hide where he could. He turned 6 3 days ago and is now 130lbs, extremely confident and full of energy.

Thank you so much for caring for the dogs. I have 3 dogs, two I raised as puppies and 1 a stray dog who wandered into my yard and never left. The stray, I named Murphy, is the now the most protective and loyal dog. My dogs are my best friends and the most loyal.

I have a rescue cat that spent over a month hiding in my house. He decided last week that I was okay. He now sleeps at the foot of my bed every night. Sometimes you just have to be patient.

She felt safe knowing you have one of her kind that is happy

You're a VERY Special Lady, and the puppy is a Very Lucky Dog

I rescued an 18 mo old shepherd lab mix who had been brought to the shelter as a stray. Amazing how resilient dogs are. He took about 30 days to adjust, but it only took him 3 days to train me. He went from sleeping on the floor to sleeping on my bed for the next 15 years.

I just love shepherds. She is so adorable.

My Sister is part of a GSD rescue group for several years and sometimes she will have up to 5-6 younger dogs at a time to foster. We even have one 22 month male from her and he is the best dog that we never expected of him. Our Mom loved GSD's and we had a few growing up, love them to death!!!

Those dogs are super smart and easy to train

I know that dogs are theraputic, but seeing how much they help other dogs is such a powerful example of that. Obviously many dogs need other dogs as much as or more than they need humans.

My FAVORITE breed! She's showing a lot of tummy, so her comfort level is high. What a good girl!

Trinity is reminds of my German Shepherd puppy Toddlies. Just like her, she is super friendly with my parents and I. She is less shy, when my parents brought her home in January 15th 2019. For past twenty six years we raise only female German Shepherd dogs not males.

Rescuers are Angels 👼🏽

I sat on the floor with my severely abused rescue for months, just petting her and telling her she was a good girl, she blossomed when I started hiking her off leash. Miss her every day.

Bless this lady for all the care and love she gave all the way up to adoption. ❤

What a beautiful girl. So glad she found the perfect home.

Congratulations on finding Trinity a nice home. I got a dog name Avery we did a meet-and-greet and everything went well, I'd lost her the following year of cancer. So I just want to say God bless you saving these lovely animals.

It was the same for my cat Ferdinand. We found him homeless on the streets, he was terrified of humans (we strongly believe he had been abused by humans in his short life because he was so afraid of arms and legs moving in his direction) 😢 The second he laid eyes on my older cat Rapunzel, who was all comfortable chilling in my mom's arms, he LIT UP. It was like you could just see him thinking to himself, that we must not be bad humans, seeing how happy and healthy Rapunzel was with us. ^^

Puppies are usually boisterous, and friendly, so I always wonder what was done to them to make them feel so afraid that they want to hide in a crate, box, or corner. I'm glad Trinity came back...

I have a coyshepard who was beaten starved and forced to live outdoors 24/7 no shelter . Did not move was totally fractured - brought home given her own futon for sleep with 2 chiweenie rescues . The most effective thing I found was to hold her in a hug and cradle her head - she finally after nearly 6 months had come out of her shell - she still has some PTSD symptoms but very mild - superbly house trained and very intelligent.

I don't know what is sweeter. The dogs, or the people who fret over them.

Animal rescuers are the saints that walk the earth

watching Trinity go from a scared puppy to a confident dog is mind blowing!! your pack really helped her come out of her shell.

@@luvwings I wish you understood the hard work it takes to foster and then place these amazing lives with their perfect families. I in no way, “gave her away,” like she wasn’t important. She is now living a better life with her new family than she could have with me. The amount of love and affection she gets is limitless. My hope for you is that you keep your careless comments to yourself in the future. Or try to make a difference instead of complaining at the people who are doing just that. Best wishes.

I just did a pitbull rescue with the most sweetest personality and found him a home I'm glad you do the same for these babys other wise wouldn't stand a chance

Smart dog. "I'm not budging until I'm POSITIVE you are my friend". Nothing wrong with that.

My wife and I used to run a dog rescue and rehoming service, but had to stop when the costs soared bringing the dogs from Europe to the UK. We rehomed nearly 100 dogs, and we kept a few too. We ended up with 12 dogs, some of them had been abused and we tended to keep those as we didn't wait even more stress put on them. Patience with stressed out dogs is the best medicine just tiny steps every day. Thank you for posting this heartwarming story, I get emotional whenever furry kids are involved ❤️

German Shepherd dogs are simply the best

My dad, brother, sister, and I rescued a German Shepherd named Eddie. I remember seeing him in his cell and he was laying in the back, too afraid to come near the door. Dad picked him because he knew that the dog just nervous and needed to come out of his shell. A few minutes into being outside, he was happily prancing and bounding around. When we brought him home, he laid down on his new dog bed and fell asleep, wiped out from excitement. He mostly clung to my sister and me, which made me think he was abused by a man and dumped on the streets. When my dad playfully patted him on the haunches, Eddie flinched and darted over to me, trying to hide behind me. It took some time but he was able to get over that trauma and become an important member of the family. He’s a big moosh with goofy ears that make up his personality. I’m glad he’s with us. We’d be incomplete without him.

This is the primary reason why when I get a dog, I look to get 2. Dogs are a pack animal. My last 2 are sisters of the same litter, but we had entire conversations of mild dog sneezes, grunts, growls, and other noise. I had no idea what they heard me say, but their reaction was priceless, we had a very good 2 1/2 years.

"... so I started bringing the rest of the pack in...". We board dogs, in addition to having 5 Goldens. When we get a boarder who is unsure, we use the whole pack to make them comfortable. We have clients who tell us their dog has never been so happy after leaving our kennel. That whole pack, works every time.

I love how the person says "she lied across the floor," the subtitles correct it to "she [laid] across the floor," but the correct past-tense of "lie" is "lay": "she just lay across the floor."

Thank you for taking care of Trinity and also bringing her to a happy home. Great looking dog, we used to have a German Shephard named Farah that was like-changing. Thank you for the video.
