No actually Indiana averages over 9,000 before this game. It wasn't Indiana's first sellout either. Senior night against Maryland is getting close to a sellout. Yes don't get me wrong Clark added 5,000 but guarantee you 12000 were there for the IU ladies. I went to the Morehead State game in November and 7,000 people attended that cupcake game

Ya think? - Indiana WBB also had a late-season sellout last year (against Purdue). And I didn't see too many Iowa jerseys in the crowd yesterday. And I wouldn't be surprised if the Maryland game sells out too. IU fans don't just show up for Caitlin Clarke (although it sure was fun to watch IU hold her to 4 points in the second half!).

Good game for the Hoosiers. I'm not sure I've seen a more physical game, and I was a little annoyed that there were so many blocks allowed in the paint, at least half of those could have been fouls. There was just no way IU was going to let Stuelke get anything going. She is not really that physical and IU exploited that. When you can't get a foul called in the paint, it takes away the post play and the drive. I half expected Iowa to figure it out late in the game, but the Hoosiers couldn't miss, so hats off to them for playing to win. Also, Clark couldn't buy a 3 in the second half, must have been 0 for 5.

Yes, different court with different refs, that big 54 would have been in foul trouble. However, Indiana deserves props for their aggressiveness & movement. Iowa just stands around a lot, didn’t switch off well on defense & not very good at setting screens to get Clark free. They miss Monica big time.

There is blood in the water and what no one is talking about is how the top 10 with the exception of SC are being knocked off WITHIN CONFERENCE!!! The unranked and lower seeds are not afraid. These teams that have top ten wins are going to be extremely dangerous at the big dance. If SC is going to be beaten no doubt it will come from someone within conference who has seen them this season.

I believe CC needs to stay in college and learn to play defense. Number 22 for Indiana made her knees buckle, and CC fell to the floor around the 2:07 in 4thQ. CC has to improve her defense if she’s going to play in the WNBA. Unfortunately, Her fan base will not be able to help her.
