Ivan Hernandez you mean shake it as a junk out of trash can? Yes, indeed, quite effective trashing of classical music. Very sexy. Very innovative. Tad too much, IMHO. Innovation is not even with ignorance demonstrated here in all its “beauty”.

BRAVISSIMO MAESTRO !!! Maestro reads score through his own soul and this leads him to tempi of the best execution of each and every theme. The best EVER I HAVE HEARD IN MY LIFE !!!! We finally able to enjoy INNOVATION , MASTERY and INTERPRETATION of GENIUS!!!

@@marinasorbelli3681 Hello Marina! This particular interpretation is way different from the so call STANDARD, but rather fresh and human to the point of SINCERITY !

At last, a new take on this particular piece. Very unique and artistic.

E Koug conductor is NOT a dancer. Conductor is a musician. Leader of orchestra. Unfortunately, lyricism and expression of Tchaikovsky’s score were shredded quite effectively My God, close your eyes and listen music. Then listen the same piece presented by REAL conductors. Mravinsky, Von Karayan, etc. Then you may understand my caustic comments about Mister K.

Es wird deutlich: Es war Liebe auf den ersten Blick, sowohl bei Currentzis wie beim Orchester. Der Maestro gewinnt für das schon vorher Fünf-Sterne-Orchester weitere Sterne hinzu.

Bei Currentzis ist es beinahe egal, was er dirigiert... Da wird selbst eine so pomadige und etwas schwüle e-Moll-Sinfonie zu einem markanten und erschütternden Lebensereignis. Und: ein inzwischen - dank Currentzis - (wieder) geniales Orchester! Danke! Und nochmals Danke für diese musikalischen Botschaften aus SW-Deutschland!

Lyubov Li можно поинтересоваться, а Вы слышали другие оркестры? И других, стати, русских дирижеров? Мравинского, Кондрашина, Светланова, наконец? Никакой «русской души» в этом похоронном марше нет. Так исказить великолепную мелодию - это надо уметь. Выделился, парфюмер.

Ok das Hornsolo ist auch nicht meine Trauminterpretation. Alex 103 ist nunmal Standard, die gesamte Interpretation finde ich jedoch extrem gut. Nicht Mravinsky, aber sehr gut. Im übrigen muss man das erstmal so spielen, live

I love it. I beginn to wonder though , it tends to be a repeat of the same beautiful melody , wonderfully played, till the next dramatic section occurs. Is this more Tschaikowsky , or more Currentzis ? His musicality , his passion...is not the intention of musicaly extend the content of a melody to the full, not a way of dismantling the flow and the firmness of the symphonic plan in itself?

Tom22085 synchronicity of orchestra, build up of climaxes + balance of groups (none), jerky pulse. Strange underscoring of transitional ideas, etc, etc,

Marina Sorbelli I just listened to this again. I guess your first comment is a description of what Currentzis does? About Gergiev: Yes, is best days may have been in the past. However, on a good day, when the stars align and the orchestra has practiced without him, his live performances can still be great - very spontaneous and direct. Of course, Bayreuth last year was nothing short of a disaster. I happened to be there...

C'est vous qui le dites. Harnoncourt n'a jamais rien dirige sans partition et nombre de chefs d'orchestre de qualite et de renomee internationale font de meme. Prenez Mariss Jansons dans Berlioz par exemple: kzread.info/dash/bejne/q39qy6OxlZPVdcY.html

@@clavessin12 Je préfère la partition dans la tête que la tête dans la partition! Ici c'est la 5eme de Tschaikowsky et nous sommes en 2019!

I also don't hear or see any really beautifully working correspondence of the orchestra , maybe they love him, but they don't feel him enough. Musica Aeterna is incomparable

apostolos kallos i think this orchestra with time will understand him and take him seriously, im sure that the first rehearsal for them had to be something really out of normal, but yes, with MusicAeterna the sound that they all make is something out of this world completely different *(loved the clarinete on the 4th movement, his expressions and way of playing)

Ich kann dem Mann nicht zuschauen. Ein Geschlenker und Gefuchtel, das mir den Musikgenuss total zerstört. Vielleicht wäre er besser Tänzer geworden? Die Emotionen wirken auf mich auch nicht echt, sondern aufgesetzt, in Szene gesetzt, theatralisch.

Мсье Курицын: эта музыка - не похоронный марш. И не гавот. Лучше Вам от Чайковского отойти как можно дальше, соблюсти, так сказать, социальное дистанцирование. Большего уродства не слышала. Что это было в начале?! Что за марш, позвольте спросить. Кстати, это Илья Мусин Вас учил, что ударом литавр можно прикрыть почти непрерывную несинхронность оркестровых групп? Вы, вообще, знакомы с с понятием - репетиция оркестра? Это не только название фильма Феллини. Вы, к сожалению, не Гарри Поттер: от взмаха Вашей палочки вместо музыки летят фантики как от Коровьева в Варьете.

Спасибо за комментарий. А то я по первой подумала, что у меня что-то не то с наушниками))) манера исполнения ужасная, эти постоянные перепады от форто к пьяно начинают надоедать после трёх минут прослушивания... зато тазом в скинни хорошо двигает))) Это просто невыносимо слушать.
