    @@xblazr you said Saturn for both fast and slow lol...also, even the artisan zero is marketed as a control pad but it's substantially faster than a control pad. They're coming out with what is apparently a true control pad soon. I've had 3 artisan zeros and like them but it is a bit fast for cs sometimes. I preordered the Saturn and I know they're comparable, but I've heard the Saturn is a bit slower than the artisan zero, so I'm excited to try it

    Yeah a light mouse + a slow mousepad = a deadly combo for games like Valorant. A fast mousepad means that sudden stops in mouse movement become more wobbly, and that wobble is a small factor when it comes to changing aiming directions too and making other mouse movements. You can get used to it somewhat, but for a game like Valorant I see no reason why you wouldn't just use a slow mousepad. It's also better for your sens no matter what it is. On a high sens you'll be less shaky and on a low sens you will be able to make much more precise readjustments and much more easily too. But I feel like a really light mouse is key to this.

    theres a million ways to get more stopping power including downwards pressure on your mouse, muscle tension from your fingers to your lateral, planting your fingers/ palm, laying more of your arm on your desk, you can get perfect stops on the softest mousepad ever, what is KEY is your technique, thinking that peripherals have stat boosts is just limiting to your ability as a player

  • @iljiFPS

    @iljiFPS

    2 ай бұрын

    @@genarito3070 mousepads aren’t inherently better or worse than one another (assuming they’re consistent), they just have trade offs. faster mousepads with lower static friction allow you to make micro adjustments faster and with less effort, but the lower stopping power means having less control and can cause inconsistencies. slower pads give you that stopping power but you physically have to push harder to make even smaller adjustments, therefore they’re often more consistent, but can be restrictive for certain speeds and games. slower pads with more stability like the GSR, G640, and artisan Zero are definitely more suited to TacFPS, meanwhile the use of faster pads, especially glass pads, takes a lot of adjustment to develop the mouse control needed to be consistent, but can be good in movement heavy fast paced games like quake, Apex, and OW which also have more verticality

    I get why he prefers slow pads over fast pads, more when your main game is a tac shooter, about being more consistent with his flicks etc, but imo in the end the stopping power is made by the pad mostly, wich is not good if you like smooth trackings in games like apex ow or tf2(titanfall), from my perspective its better a fast pad, since you can work on your control over the mice and at the same time having the “freedom” that only a fast pad can offer

    this is why the QCK is still king lol, you can get all the glasspads or whatever you want but for a tac fps where you gotta make short distance instant taps the slow pads reign supreme
