I've been lurking here for a bit, watching your videos for research (about camping in bad weather) I'm doing for a book, and feeling some strong comraderie here because I lost my dad 5 years ago after helping care for him, too. I adore Bruce, your humor, the awesome rants, and your obvious love for nature and family. It also feels like you're on a healing journey that the rest of us truly appreciate being part of in this small way. Thank you, Tony!

I lost my dad in 1998 and some days it still feels like yesterday. Miss him every day but it is easier to focus on the good memories most of the time. Hang on to those precious memories moving forward. They will save you. Hugs.

Hi Everyone...from Montgomery Illinois USA. I'm pretty new here and find myself enjoying thoroughly just hanging out. You're show is ...well...excellent. I love winter, do alot of hiking with my dog Zoe. I would love to winter camp but embarrassed to say, just too scared to do it. More the danger of the human kind. It's hard to be an outdoor enthusiast and a big "true crime" junkie. Love the solitude, the hard work, the challenge, the joy of all that comes with camping, hiking in all elements. I am a school bus driver and we're out in the extreme weather. I find the cost of good gear, difficult to justify with my budget. So all that being said I get my adventure on where I can find it. Thank you and good night.

i’ll start one on my tablet on my bedside table and by the time bruce gets his dinner i’m fast asleep. an excellent sleep aid. the rain always induces snoozes.

In the beginning, Bruce looks like he's asking you "are you sure this is the spot?" He is such a good dog! Love watching you two.

It's awfully nice of Brucie to allow you to come along with him. I love that dog! I have a Border Collie as well and she is fantastic. Smart as a whip and so loveable!! I think Border Collies are my favorite dog.

We love your rants and ramblings. You have a gift with the camera. You make each person think you are speaking just to them.

I think you and Brucie love the rain. Much more comfortable sleeping in a tent under a tarp than that hammock. Tarps give freedom for sitting, relaxing and cooking...

That's his back yard? I was going to ask Tony how he got to go out camping when he said they were all in lockdown. People said we had lockdown when Covid was running all over the place, but I didn't even know it as I'm a homebody anyway, so our lives weren't much different from before Covid. I like being home and so does my husband. That's probably why we didn't catch Covid when it was first discovered--don't know.

Tony, thank you so much for mentioning our U.S. troops in Afghanistan, we are devastated and with 9-11 coming up and more threats by ISIS and the Taliban plus CoVid, it’s just a whole other world. Your videos are quite a nice escape from it all, and of COURSE we appreciate your Brucie cheering is all up.

Maybe you could try doing some KZread shorts with Bruce? They seem to be quite popular these days. Love the camping trip you got amazing land you live on.

I love that you camp in the rain. I also enjoy camping in the rain. I live in Florida, USA and right now it's just too hot to tent camp. (90 degrees Fahrenheit). I will normally camp from October - April or go North in the summer! Love the long Video and enjoying a cigar with you and Bruce. Thank you Tony....

Well it’s 3:30 AM and couldn’t sleep so I’m doing the next thing and watching your awesome video with the famous BRUCIE. He is such a cute dog. Love the way he looks at you waiting for the go to eat his food. I really like the long videos. How awesome to be able to go behind your house and camp and not to mention the sound of the rain. Wowww! This was so awesome. Before I had to go to plant-based eating, pulled pork with coleslaw was one of my favorite meals. Yumbo!♥️🤣 Tarp and tent with chair and side table is definitely the way to camp if one can carry it all. Thoroughly enjoyed everything about this camp. Enjoy your channel, I am a professional eater and like to camp like you. I stopped drinkin' 22 years ago. It ruined my life and everyone's life I touched. I did aober up when my Dughter was 2 and a half and miss her immensely. She died 20 months ago and tour videos help me relax as I fo campin' to relax as well as my 70 chickens in the backyard thay are therapeutic. I have one named Luna that comes inside every day to lay an egg then goes out to act like a chicken the rest of the day until she comes in at night on her roost and watch your videos. Between your first pancakes, your fancy hammock and Bruce shaking off all the rain on you. I really enjoy all the fun times you and Bruce have given me. I really do look forward to watching the both of you. You said about tapping the top of your beer can so it don't blow up.... well here's a good laugh for you. I went shopping tonight after having dinner with friends. Afterwards I went to a nice little park we have close to town. Well I took out a soda and went to open it and without any warning as soon as I took of the cap ( I was in the car) it exploded all down the front of me. Lol. I was soaked and sticky. I hope no one saw it or heard me. I laughed as hard as I did with your first pancakes. Lol 😆 I bet I won't do that again. I really love the area you're camping in now. I'm addicted to your camping videos. The sad part Tony is I'm 100% serious. I'm alone & I'm rethinking my life and what I want. I think I'm going to get a new dog as no one should be alone in this crazy world. Then, I'm going to look into buying a small tent to start unless I can salvage anything from my garage I'll be starting over. A short trip should give me lots of answers quickly. I'll be watching and even though my travels and times won't match your videos I will still drop a line to keep in touch. Of course, I'll still be watching all your videos but I'm going to buy some better better ways to watch & learn. Oh thank goodness! You put up another tarp! I'm from the Pacific Northwest and if you want to camp here, it's rain camping a lot. So we use extra tarps, or at the very least much larger tarps, if not, you get too wet, and can't stay warm.

i sure am learning alot about camping in the rain from you :)
