What does it even mean deserve housing? Big problem with homelessness is people have this very simplistic view that giving homes will solve the issue it will not if way more complicated. For some sure but ask anybody who actually work with homeless people they will tel you its nonsense, those people have issues that are preventing them from having house and many many even don't want they want to live in streets.

people don't even feel safe walking around anymore, well not that it was 100% safe to begin with but i mean it's like 80% worse then it was just a few years ago. my friends who live in NYC have been telling me all about it, and i've been telling them they need to move out for their own sakes.

Why report it. The DA will let them out anyway

I went to the supermarket today, I could only buy what I could afford. On the line to pay, I saw a Migrant that paid for two items with foodstamps, and paid for the rest with her $1000 dollar credit card. I'm a law abiding struggling American, why can't I get that $1000 dollar credit card. And get this the migrants are also getting stimulus checks, drivers licenses.

I was also assaulted in a shelter about 2 years ago. I reported it. Some girl from the DA's office called me once and that was the end of it. She did not reply to my subsequent request for an update on my case.
