    I have tennis elbow from lifting heavy weights. But I have found that strengthening my grip has helped tremendously. So I use hand grippers, as many as I can do on both hands. My elbow doesn't hurt nearly as much as it used to and my grip is LOADS better when lifting.

    Years ago I had some bad golfers elbow from tennis! Combination of poor form, stiff racquet, and the wrong string choice. That got all healed up but now I am a full time teaching pro and have some nasty tennis elbow that is a solid 8/10 (serving motion with pronation and gripping cause it to shoot up to a 9.5/10; thankfully I at least have a 2 handed backhand). I was talking to some of the older pros and apparently it can be caused by hours of feeding with flat balls. So thanks for the timely video and keep on keepin on!

    Going on for years! Tennis, golf, and baseball...no playing any more....ice, rest, years of physical therapy on and off! Ibuprofen...surprise after years its gone...only for 2 yrs. then got a cold...inflammation came back...back to physical therapist,...yes vibration therapy but not directly...only around it! I also bought a gyroscope at big 5 sports! That is the best for building up muscles around the tendon and help get rid of pain! Got to take with ibuprofen though or doesnt seem to work as well!

    A couple of years ago, my elbow became excruciatingly painful. I kept hitting it almost daily, on the armrest on my car door. I had it for over a year. Then my other elbow got it, probably because I was favoring the left one. It was miserable. Now they both are sore, but much better. I tried both the flexing one and the massage, but think I'd better leave well enough alone, as the one I tried to fix, is now hurting more again 😟 I think my fibromyalgia likes to hold onto every pain I've ever had.😢

    My left arm has been slowly getting better but I injured my right back in February and it’s taking forever to heal. I injured my left arm while laid up with a back injury playing video games for 10+ hours a day for 8 months and the right arm was from carrying wood while building a dresser. Gamers elbow and carpenters elbow. 👍

  • @wronskiwhispers
    @wronskiwhispers2 жыл бұрын

    I think I developed this after carrying a very heavy bag with one arm repeatedly over a few weeks. I couldn't get it to go away because anytime I did something as benign as lift a mug or open a door, it would tweak it again. I tried this and spent the rest of the day icing it on and off. Woke up today and the pain is gone!! Able to do my usual activities without even a twinge.

    I wasn’t sure why I was having the pain. I couldn’t hold tight anything. I wasn’t having a massive pain but it was a blunt pain. But minor pain when pressing the elbow joint. Had the pain for about 2-3 weeks and since it wasn’t going anywhere I saw the Dr. He said it’s a tennis elbow. Then I was thinking why and how did I get this. Then realised it was the gym exercise I did. I watched your back stretching video (bar exercise as I am suffering from lower back disc bulge) that caused me the tennis elbow. Now I’m doing the exercises your showing in the video pain is reduced a bit. However I did arm exercises one day and the next day I was getting the pain back. So I stopped doing those and I compensate with how I hold things too. I am a surveyor so I pretty much lift heavy things. Anyway love your videos thank you for helping.

    Are you guys reading my mind?? I just started having elbow problems from keeping my elbow bent at work to talk on the phone. Idk what tennis elbow is though... but I guess I’m about to find out!! And just for anyone who is reading, I really think the reason my elbow is hurting because I stopped doing yoga! I’ve always been so active, but I’ve been really bad the past couple of months. You always hear people say it, but I never realized how amazing yoga is for your body! Or any form of deep breathing and stretching. Don’t give up on fitness like me!!! It sucks.

    man mine got so bad, rotating my wrist outward felt like I was being stabbed in the forearm and the pain shot through my arm. its been about 2 months of meloxicam and exercises, the radiating pain has gone but the point on the elbow you showed at the start is still very sore and active, it wont settle passed that point even though everything else has which makes me worry that as soon as I run out of moloxicam itll flare up again and I cant deal with it again. I guess surgery is the next step maybe?

    Try Tennis Elbow Classroom! He's really good. He suggests massage techniques, stretching and exercises. I also made a video on this actually. If you need help, don't hesitate to email me actually. I don't mind. If it can help someone who's having similar issues that would make me happy. Anyway, good luck

    What about pain radiating down forearm, I’ve done these tips and tricks but I think it’s extending down the forearm. I had 2 Steriod injections, first one lasted 6 months but this time not working,

    Probably shoulder instability. Watch Athlean X's video called '' How to Fix Shoulder Pain & Impingement (FOREVER) '' (june 4th 2020). Try the exercises and if it helps, then it was your shoulder pinching a nerve :P
