These are arbitrary numbers for the revenue share. Freshman: $10.00 Sophomore:$20.00 Junior: $30.00 Senior:$40.00 If you tranfer, you have to start over at freshman pay at new school. Example, if your a junior making $30.00 you would now be a junior making $10.00 at your new school. This is of course something every conference would have to be on the same page with. If the nunbers are right, it would cut down on transfers especially if your school has a top notch NIL game to go with it. Revenue would be based on your sports revenue to the school. So, those numbers might not be arbitrary for the golf team. Lets face it though, if you grew up getting good at golf, you probably arent hurting for money anyway. This idea basically comes from Josh Pate talking on Josh and Swain today.

Collegiate athletes were always meant to maintain the amateur status as to heavily promote the "student" portion of "student-athlete." They're no longer "student"-athletes. They're professional athletes who may or may not show up to class now. They may or may not see through their commitments to a school. They may or may not play bowl games - and I can GUARANDAMNTEE you that before too long they'll refuse to play certain games in-season because they don't want to get hurt. It's disgusting. Down with all of it.

Or we can get to the place where they have a contract that makes them stay at one school and play every game. Saying athletes can’t make money is silly and illegal

And since you seem to want to be a smart ass, your own words destroy your comment here - you said "Saying athletes can’t make money is silly and illegal" - Not only is that grammatically a train wreck but it's also theoretically and literally stupid. What you meant to say was "Saying college athletes shouldn't make money is silly." Of course "athletes" can make money, but I'm talking about college athletes. And no, it's not silly or illegal to say that college athletes shouldn't be paid. I mean this with all sincerity, are you 5 years old?

It seems to be getting worse..

I'm all for people making as much money as they can. I am a hardcore capitalist. But Cainer buddy, and I know its the Locked On front office people, but dude the ads are out of control. I have YT premium to not have ads, I skip the shit out of yours too. It seems like I'm skipping half the episodes lately. Chris Gordy, Im calling you out. Make your ad slots more valuable (and more expensive for advertisers) by reducing the amount of ad slots. We d9nt need ad teasers to open the show and 3 ads during 2 "breaks" (which I never understood because this is the internet, you dont have hard outs).
