Awesome effort and incredible video as always. It was browsing your channel a couple of years ago that first got me into ultras. Transvulcania is now on the bucket list and this year I'll be putting myself in the ballot for CCC.

Awesome as always, that video shows what's great about ultra running even though it can be unejoyable at times, the scenery/setting/event looks fantastic. Every time I say, not doing ultra distance again, I watch one of your videos and I am like, cannot wait for the next :D (though admittedly I'm rubbish at them).

Eventually is does! Sometimes you say immediately afterwards "I am never doing that again". But the next day, you only remember the good parts and it feels like the most awesome thing ever!

Agreed, and that "most awesome thing ever" feeling can stay with you for quite some time, even during future races or difficult life times. When you have endured tough times, recalling those times during present tough times helps you move forward, knowing that you have gotten through obstacles before, so you can do it again. It's a positive circle. The more you do, the more you believe you can do.

Great video yet again. Looks like a great race. May have to put that on the list. Got the Hardwolds 80 in two weeks, I don't think the weather will be the same lol You using the insta 360 one X or the Gopro?

mike hall I’ve got the Max and I’ve just ordered the Qoocam 8k. I think if it’s a choice between the Insta and the Max, is go for the Max

thanks i love the climb i have utmb next month snowdon and 100 in september. but i have done big mountains elbrus kili and aconcagua in the past but i never under estimate any runs like this i know it will be hard but im doing the shorter run than you
