SM staff said Ten's solo was the most difficult, because the choreography and music choices were very different from those released by SM because it really followed Ten's wishes. Ten wanted easy choreography, but the choreographer had difficulty because Ten's "easy" wish was not easy at all, in the end Ten changed almost the entire choreography from the draft given by the choreographer. Many choreographers who have worked with Ten said that they were not worried at all because Ten would turn it into a work of art. So the choreographer helped Ten to synchronize his formation with the background dancers.

True, even this promotion was short and the moment he started promoting SM Taeyoung too it seemed intentional to me. Because Taeyoung always has solo going on and longer promotions.

💯 Ten is great. He is one of the best dancers in Kpop and he has a great voice. He debuted with NCT U in The 7th Sense. It's a great song. Highly recommend. For more of his solo work I recommend Paint Me Naked, New Heroes, and Dream in a Dream. He also did a song with one other member of WayV called Low Low. I think a lot of the other comments have covered Ten's other solo stuff, so I'm going to highly, highly recommend Ten & WinWin's self choreographed dance to Lovey by Billie Eilish & Khalid - it's phenomenal. And Taeyong & Ten's NCT U song Stop, Baby Don't Stop and the song they did for a street dance reality show (they didn't compete or perform on the show, they made a song for other people to dance to), Swipe.

Ten said in a recent interview that he wanted each song on the album to show the different versions of himself. That's why there is such a range of style with the songs. i mean taemin (if he still continues idol activities outside of SM) still carries the title but ten is def in the top 5 best dancers in kpop

@@new4xisAxis that title is not really based on an UPDATED intensive investigation and panel of experts discussion. And although Taemin is a very respected high caliber dancer, he lacks many things that Ten could offer like range and the athletic aspect of dance. Although Taemin can move to many types of dance, Ten can understand and express those different genres in the correct vibe. Even just in hip-hop, Taemin can execute the moves but Ten expresses it with the swag and steeze that it's supposed to have. He really understands the feel of hip-hop. And give TEN any genre and he's gonna kill it cuz he has limitless artistic expression and his instrument (his body) is the type that can execute anything with cleanliness and precision which I can't say for Taemin. I mean even in their older works it's already been obvious that's why Taemin kept on gushing about TEN way back. Look at both Dream in a dream and Sayonara Hitori dance practices which were released around the same time (or just a year apart) and evaluate their quality of movements (their lines, their precision, their dynamics). It's obvious who is the better dancer.

@@new4xisAxis Taemin will ALWAYS be the King of solos and he’s a phenomenal dancer. He absolutely held the best dancer in all of kpop title for well over 10 years. However, Ten emerged and gets better and better every year. His dance ability has surpassed Taemin’s. …and I’m saying this as a Shawol of 15 years. What I believe Ten won’t do is take Taemin’s place as the King of solos but Ten definitely deserve the title of Prince of solos.

Each artist, if he is phenomenal and lucky enough, has his own time to shine. TEN doesn't need to kick Taemin out of his "throne" and Taemin doesn't have to cast a shadow over Ten. Although I think TEN is no doubt the best dancer in kpop, every artist has his own strengths and flavors that will attract particular types of people so all these great artists and performers can all have great careers without stepping in each other's toes. Let's give them the credit they deserve without pitting them against each other..

His every song is a banger; there's no way anyone would dislike them. Even if at first, you won't, but after hearing on repeat, you're going to get addicted because his songs grow on us.
