EXO also have 2 sub units, EXO-CBX (vocal line) and EXO-SC (rap line) with their own albums. When it comes to exo it really IS about the music though. Like you can get away with not knowing anything about the group because the quality of their songs really do speak for themselves.

2012 was the year that EXO officially made their debut and marked the beginning of the third generation.

There were originally 12 members split into EXO k (Korean versions of songs and EXO m (Chinese versions of songs) with six members in each unit. Three of the four Chinese members left pretty early on (only two of the Chinese members were in call me baby) and Lay is kind of in the group but hasn’t joined any recent comebacks because he isn’t in SM anymore and is promoting in China. EXO K and M combined on most songs but also recorded the same songs in Chinese and Korean, now they are just called EXO.

they are called "Vocal Kings of KPOP" and "EMPERORS of KPOP" for a reason. Their live performances and concerts are TOP TIER. They have 3 main vocalist which is D.O ( Doh Kyungsoo) known for being RnB king, BAEKHYUN as the belter and Chen as the POWER because he can reach the HIGHEST female notes. Their groups is a total package. The members can sing even the 2 main rappers. They can also dance like all of them are the main dancers. They can also rap just like their main rappers. The thing with EXO, you always have to count them in their mvs 😅. Call Me Baby has 10, Monster 9, Obsession 6 and Cream Soda has 7 on the mv but 8 on the songs coz Kai was not in the mv. There are no back up dancers on those mvs. Most of them are actors (film and theatre), models, brand ambassadors and OST artists. 7 of them have successful solo album/s. Lay, the only Chinese member have two movies with Jackie Chan. They’ve been 12 years in their career but in hiatus almost half of it. I became an Exo-L in late 2020, and my 1st comeback album is DFTF which were never promoted, and then Exist album last year, promoted for 4 days then their gone again 😅. Though they have solo activities, i want to see EXO perform with complete members. Btw, EXO started the 3rd gen.

Since 2019 the members have been going through mandatory military service. So some MV’s and concerts have a different number of members. He is a well known, and respected music producer in the US music industry. He has produced for Dr. Dre, Kanye West, Rihanna, Janet Jackson, Anderson Paak, Kendrick Lamar and more.I recommend looking up his discography. There is a decent (not complete) list on Wikipedia so you can see which EXO/NCT songs he has produced or co-produced.

Xikers just had a comeback (last night) and it is FIRE! They’re the little brothers of Ateez and many of their songs are written and produced by Hong Joong of Ateez. Check out the latest, “We Don’t Stop,” then “Tricky House,” “ Koong,” and “Do or Die.” Unmatched energy and incredible talent. I think you’ll like them. Their concept is that they’re goblins (like Ateez is pirates).

Don’t even get me started on EXO I literally love them soo much they’re my first ever K-pop group I stan back in 2012 they are known has the vocal kings of K-pop and I’m sure you’ll find out later on when you listen to them some more why they’re called that..baekhyun is known has the vocal king in K-pop and another member kai is know as one of the best dancers in K-pop in the top 3 both kai and baekhyun are in a super group called SuperM that was made by SM along with Taemin from Shinee and Lucas Mark Ten and Taeyong from Nct (well Lucas is an ex Nct member from the WayV unit) you’ve reacted to some songs with him..EXO is a group that can do it all they’re actors singers rapper dancers producers and some even have their own fashion brand ..out of all of them the most known actor is (D.O)kyungsoo

They debuted on April 8th, 2012. They are very early 3rd gen who were rocking it with 1st and 2nd gen when they debuted along other early 3rd gen groups. They feel more like 2nd gen cause they have been around for so long.

EXO is a living legend in Kpop industry, their popularity and contribution to kpop is still unmatch. Originally 12 members when they debuted in 2012 divided into 2 groups, EXO-K ( Korean members Suho, Baekhyun, Chanyeol, D.O. , Kai ) and EXO-M ( Xiumin, Chen, and Chinese members Lay, Kris, Luhan and Tao ) . Chinese members departed from the group along their journey and only Lay was left but inactive as of the moment. EXO have 9 members as of now but since Lay is inactive, they promoted as 8 members for now.
