imo personally, i still dont like it bc of the instrumental. it's just not my taste. but youre right on getting used to it, bc when i listen to it these days im just okay with it. it's weird that ppl hate the song that much but ig ppl have diff taste

Hi guys! Sticker is a divisive song, even within the fandom. Personally, I think it’s genius! Especially with NCT 127, you need to give the title tracks a few more listens, and most of them will grow on you.

2 members from nct 127 are also in NCT dream, Mark and Haechan, and yes everybody in NCT including WayV is in Nct U. This is because nct dream used to be a graduation unit where when the members hit a certain age they were moved into new units, although before the graduation thing actually had time to take effect mark and haechan were already in 127, the only one actuallt who graduated was mark. However fans and dream in general were extremely sad when mark left, like EVERYBODY cried type sad and everybody was anxious for the other dreamies to graduate next especially since like 4 of them are the same age and that would only leave 2 dreamies left. So then boom SM made Nct Dream a permanent unit and brought back Mark after like maybe a year or 2, and we cried/got trauma for nothing

the way i was nervous to watch this bc of sticker lol it's definitely the most polarizing song probably in the entirety of nct's discography. you either love it or hate it generally; it's one of those songs that you gotta listen to a few times to even understand it and then decide how you feel. a lot of nct songs require a few listens honestly. i personally fucking love it. it's fun and the vocals are everything. glad y'all loved the wayv song, it's still my favourite title track by them to this day! btw it was hendery! also yes nct u can be any combination of members! mark and haechan are in both 127 and dream so you'll probably start recognizing them!

I think Sticker made me realize how much our minds rely on melodic predictability to enjoy a song. Without it a song can be very disorienting, even if you like all the parts individually. The awesome thing about Sticker is that once you have listened enough times to have that predictability, it becomes an absolute banger! 💚

Moonwalk AND Superhuman both coming out in 2019 - IDK if any year in K-pop will beat 2019 as being my favorite year for K-pop. Two absolutely perfect songs.

NCT Dream Mark and Haechan also in NCT 127. They're also in "90's Love" NCT U. And also U can check NCT dance practice, esp GM dance practice if U'r curious

I personally love both sticker and baggy jeans, all their experimental stuff is soo good in my opinion but i definitely get why some people don’t vibe with it! The 7th sense is the first nct debut (nct u) and it’s with the same members from baggy jeans, but it’s a completely different vibe! Superhuman and fact check by nct 127 are also veeery good. their b-side tracks are amazing, back 2 u and skyscraper for example are top tier :) 127 are known for having a polarizing title track with insanely good bsides that people instantly fall in love with! Broken melodies by nct dream and moonwalk by wayv are also very good

a lot of people say wayv is cpop, but tbh if we are to be 100% correct they are a global group promoting both in Korea and China. They are both kpop and cpop. They have done fanmeetings in various countries. They used to promote solely in China but not anymore and is becoming more global. I think if you ask a lot of wayzennies they will also agree that WayV is a global group. There's a reason why every single release of them has either the English Ver or a Korean ver. Besides that, thank you for noticing and appreciating Hendery's talent as a rapper. He's my bias and it pains me when he got overlooked in MVs. Hoping for more reactions on them in the future ❤❤

Hmm, I think it gets more complicated than that if you want to define the difference between kpop and cpop (throw in jpop if you want). Part of it is the language you promote in or mostly sing in but just because Kpop groups make albums almost entirely in Japanese doesn't make them a Jpop group. For me it has more to do with how the artists are trained and what industry norms they follow. Kpop groups are trained and promoted in a specific way and their songs have certain roots in Korean industry history. These lines are getting more fuzzy as everything is international of course. But I would say that most Chinese people I know would not classify WayV as Cpop. First and foremost they are under a Korean company and they trained in that company according to those norms. And one of the main reasons that they have an English or Korean version of most of their songs is because performing in Mandarin can be a controversial thing depending on where they are performing. For example, they can't perform in Korean on a Chinese network or radio etc. And vice versa, they can't perform in Korean shows in Mandarin. English is kinda "neutral" in some places but not others. And because media is more controlled in China many fans won't have easy access to the promotion they do there. I feel for them because they are doing a hard thing. (for example, solo artists are more popular in China whereas groups do better in Korean industry.... there are many differences to how the industries are run as well)

@rebeckaroy679 actually i do agree with you, in my personal opinion i will def categorize them as more to kpop bc everything they do is leaning towards kpop industry. the only reason i put cpop is because ik a lot of ppl will get offended if i dont because for them, singing in Mandarin = automatically cpop but i think that's also the reason why i would just see them as a global/multinational group cuz at the end of the day their promotions are all over the place, and sm just dont know how to manage them properly. i also respect them so much for being in a difficult place as some chinese dont really listen to them as theyre not entirely cpop, and koreans ignore them as they are well, not koreans. It definitely is very complicated. i hope sm will promote them in the west but God knows how long it will take bc they are always mistreated :/

@@fatihafitri3631 China has certainly become a little more closed to outside companies but fans there still listen to plenty of kpop. It was especially difficult because they debuted just a year before the whole world of promoting/touring shut down. And during the whole pandemic all their plans got pushed back because of lengthy lockdowns in China and other things outside their control. And plenty of Chinese idols have big fanbases in Korea so there is certainly plenty of open minds in spite of the political situations. I think they will do well in the long run, they make excellent music and I think that will get more and more listeners. P.S. Lovely to chat to another Hendery bias, he's my fav in WayV too :D

Watching the NCT 127 Killing Voice is a GREAT way to listen to their live discography!!!

Nct is known for noise music or experimental music which is what Sticker would be under, Sticker when it came out was like 50/50 whether people liked it or not. Personally i loved it straight away.

There are two members (Mark and Haechan) who are both in 127 and Dream (hope this helps)

If you want more DJJ, they have a dance practice for their song Dive. Also take note that NCT songs do take a couple of listens to get use to, then u look back and say damn I didn't like this at first but now I mess with it heavy.💚💚💚

nct 127 is the most experimental unit i recommend superhuman and regular(english version) its so good and nct dream reccs are boom and hello future and wayv reccs are moonwalk and miracle

I’m really starting to like you guys: Not only did I watch the whole thing, I subscribed right after. I think WayV is great, and they have a lot of wonderful songs. “Turn Back Time” is one of my favorites. The thing is, other than “Phantom” I never say to myself “Let’s play a WayV track.” Also, a lot of people seem to love Hendery’s raps (and visuals), and as good as he is, I’m not quite as impressed. You picked 3 fun ones after that. “Sticker”? 😂 Right after TBT? Oy. It’s like “anti-melodic” versus “melodic” back to back. It definitely separates the “fans from the also-rans.” The vocals, rapping, and dancing really make the whole experience, and I actually like the piano! “Glitch Mode” isn’t a favorite of mine, but Dream are so good that they can sing just about anything and I’d be fine with it. (I suggest that you watch the GM Dance Practice to see how they pull off the moves.) “Hot Sauce” and “Hello Future” are my 2 faves from them. And yes, Mark and Haechan are in 127 and Dream. Mark is my personal favorite rapper in Kpop; there’s no one else like him. I had the same problem with “Baggy Jeans” that Jose had with “Sticker”: too many musical movements/changeups for my taste. But, once I began to think of it as a novelty song I enjoyed it a lot more, plus I can listen to Doyoung sing all day, and the choreo’s excellent. You guys just demonstrated why NCT is so great: I think you spent more time discussing a song you weren’t thrilled with than you did listening to it. And looking forward to more! 😂👍🏾

Mark and Haechan are like everywhere in nct. They're in both 127 and dream and also in a lot of U songs. (they're both in 90's love and mark's in baggy jeans.) You guys should listen to more dream songs! Hello Future, Hot Sauce, We Go Up, literally any dream song. Also I think you'd like Universe (Let's Play Ball) by nct u and Superhuman by nct 127.

They should do a ten and taeyong episode with their songs together and their solos

about the "glitchy" choreo part in Glitch Mode; while the choreography is indeed like that (they actually do all the moves on that part), they slowed down the song every time they do that, then sped up to normal speed on post, so the movement looks way faster and of course more glitchy. they still be hitting it even without editing tho!

If you want to get a feel for the different flows, all the units have done a version of Regular. NCT in Korean and English and WayV in Mandarin.

I recommend you guys to listen to NCT U - The 7th Sense. Because for me, my favorite NCT U lineup is the "The 7th Sense" and "Baggy Jeans", which is these 5 members. For me the 5 of them ARE the ACES of NCT. Like out of 26 members, they are the TOP 5.

NCT Dream is definitely more my style as they have fewer experimental tracks and are way more easy listening especially their earlier discography! Even, in terms of b-sides, they have some of my favourite kpop songs!
