Not wet cuz then the color wont stick properly, the best time to use it is on almost dry or damp hair but dry hair will work too.

@@lils1988 actually nvm ur right, i just bought some color wax and tried it, it works way better on wet hair after applying some leave in, when i applied it to damp hair the color didnt stick well. it probably worked better for the guy in the video cuz he has straight hair, mine is curly.

@@Fantazaelia from the videos I watched most people with curly hair did it on damp hair or even pretty much wet. And the straight hair people do it the other way around. I am happy you found a way that works for you. Maybe I will try it again sometimes.
