Thank you Bob! It's hard not to smile visiting a garden like that. Wish I was able to visit the temple again in 1-2 months. Those fruits would fill in.

Wow, this tour into theTaoist Temple is like walking into Paradise, as beautiful as the Catholic church interiors are here, doesn't compare the least to the beauty of this Buddhist Temple, loving how the focus is more on the Natural then on the Spiritual, because it seems that if you go "natural", the spiritual comes along easily.Thank you for sharing dear Wendi, 👍and greetings👋from central Mexico.

It is one of the more interesting temples I've visited there. There's french influence in old Vietnam. What do Catholic churches grow if they do?

@@wendiland Yeah, not much,maybe some saw palmettos or bouganvilleas, something that doesn't require much "work" and will "enhance" but won't "hide" the architectural beauty of the building".🙄

Temples I've visited when I was young did not have a garden this size, but they often grew Sambac Jasmine. This was a treat!

Oh my goodness, i feel more relaxed second hand walking through that garden. So cool! I didn't know about the use of plants in the spiritual to balance the male/female energy. Thanks for sharing Wendi!

That's just what I know/heard about certain plants. Not sure if that's really the temple's intention. haa If you believe, each plant / being gives off a type of energy. Glad you enjoyed the tour. :)

@@wendiland From chinese medicine, i have heard of plants supporting the yin and yang energies. I am trying Fo-Ti for that purpose now. Nice to see how it relates to other cultures though!
