Begonias are my soul plant! They were my first successful plant baby and now i just cant get enough of them! They created my strong love for indoor plants and anytime i see one i dont have, i HAVE to get it! If im ever having a hard day a new begonia is a surefire way to cheer me up quick! 🤩

Since Begoniaceae is my favorite family of angiosperms, I just can't get enough of these begonia tours, specially with Don Miller around. I feel so blessed discovering the huge diversity and varieties of these plants, also how well Don Miller shares his knowledge and passion about these plants. Thanks!

So excited for this episode as I want to add some more begonias to my plant collection.

Please more Rex begonias!!!

Next to the amazing diversity of the pelargonium family I love begonias too and adding to my collection of them recently. I first came across them over 40 years ago in the school greenhouse!

I grew Begonia Sinbad, and it is a glory to grow. Though the leaves are very thin and I could imagine having pest problems. Still, a fast grower and very beautiful flowers.

No important questions like how long Begonias live ? Or where the heck are spectacular Rex Begonias ? Why I can not find them ? (the spectaculars ). From this episode I at least learn where Walmart begonias came from.

They are Kelly! We propagate all of our plants so from time to time some will be out of stock, but we're always propagating more & each plant description has the ability to notify you once we have some available on our Friday 4p CST inventory!

I just adore begonias 🤩 I have grandis but the deer love it as much as I do 🙄 I have a pretty large (tall) cane variety as a houseplant, it has the white speckles on the leaves but I’m not sure of its name, as it was given to me years ago. I had it flower sporadically (light pink) a couple of times but cannot get it to flower again! I tried a cool dormant period, fertilization, cutting back…every time I cut back it gets gangly. It’s next to a western facing window. I might repot it and cut back again but I wish I could have an expert like Don weigh in! If anyone has tips for indoor flowering, please share!

Just a warning. If you do a plant auction on Steve's Leaves they will increase the time on an auction even after you receive a notice that you have won the auction. I was told it was so more people can participate, but by extending the time limit, after it has officially ended, they are able to make more money. If you don't mind winning, and then being forced to pay more to win again, then their auctions are the ones for you.

U can avoid it by paying some monthly fees to u tube … owner has no control over this issue.
