Hey Amri, I find your videos extremely useful and helpful. With this question though, I really try to stay away from what is already included in my CV because the interviewers have my CV. I always share things like my personality type and the chief attributes thereof that potentially match me to the job. Moreover, I just feel like I am not my work experience, so to answer that question using my professional experience is an injustice to who I truly am. And so that’s how I’ve always though and tackled the question. This method has helped me a lot and landed me much success. Thereafter, the interviewers ask questions about my CV and that is when I delve deep into my work and professional experience.

Spot on! Well compiled video on the key points on how to introduce yourself and tell me about yourself. I find it quite insightful and I will take the important notes for my upcoming interview next week. Thank you Amri!

Is there any related volunteer work you can do - often these roles are a little easier to find and help you build up more recent relevant experience. You can also focus on your transferable skills - I cover this in more detail here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/pp-osZRxmKvFfco.html

Hi Amri, thank you for your very helpful interview questions and answers.. I am a fresh graduate who is going to have a physical interview for the position of an Assistant Psychological Services Executive in a government agency where they could ask me about certain aspects such as what they generally do. Do you have any advice for how I can stand out in the interview and not be nervous?

Thanks a lot I have an online interview coming soon, the position is maintenance superintendent in factory. Could you please provide me with advice about the same question "Tell me about yourself".

To answer this I recommend having a think about your values and what has pushed you to that particular role or industry, for example your innovation, creativity or integrity, you can then use that as a descriptor for your personal brand - for example: 'an innovator,' 'a creative', 'a corporate strategist', and then expand on why that is your personal brand.

This is so helpful... you have no idea.

Your answer can be a blend of what you found in company research and what you've discovered during the interview process - for example, company accolades, plans or achievements. Best of luck Jemal! Best advice I can give day in advance is to prep for the common questions (situational / behavioural) as these are more commonly where candidates struggle, best of luck and thank you for the feedback!

please help me to answer the question "tell us a time/situation when you prioritize things with deadline?" being tested is competency of your being customer focused.

How do you properly answer “tell me about your educational background?” for example, “I’m a high school graduate but I completed ‘some college’. I’m stuck with finding the best answer 😞

Although this may be a little different in the UK depending on where you're based but I recommend starting with the grade or qualification, then talk about where you studied and when - then ask if they would like more detail so they can advise how much information they're looking for.

@@amriceleste ooh ok. I had a job interview last week and these ppl tore me up with some questions I did not know. Here’s one. “How do you envision yourself as a Administrative assistant and how do you build rapport while collaborating with a diverse team?” Something like that, probably a more difficult question than that. I said, I’m not sure and I’ll have to get back with them on that question. Im sure I didn’t get the job lol smh.
