0:08 i'm so glad this outfit is now finally usable in tekken 7. Am i like the only one that noticed that Namco used it twice? I glad for it though cause it looks badass!!!! And the purple coat was getting old.

No you're not alone. Namco is kinda pissing me off because we've been seeing rehashed costumes for 10 years and the characters don't seem to be aging like they used to do like in previous incarnations before Tekken 5.

Demon Rantz agree maybe when Harada intruduced customization since T5 he decide to keep the original outfits for some char ( Yoshi is the only one that changes mostly in a standard look ) cause he would make to the player to change itself in case we dont like the outfits

Such an epic intro, I remember seeing it for the first time on the brand new PS2 completely blown away as a kid.

I used to play this game when I was younger on my ps2 with my older bro and sis. Watching this is pure nostalgia, thanks for the great time. It’s a shame I don’t have it anymore. First game is ever played, introduced me to a whole new world.

the music makes it so much better. so many good memories of this game.

I still play this on my PS2. Love the Blue Disc.

The endings of TTT1 gave more character development to the Mishima family than 4 whole games did.

And then a couple years after that was Tekken 4 oh my goodness the jump is still unreal to this day like I imagine if you got Tekken 3 but you didn't get Tekken Tag tournament and then you got Tekken 4 the jump between Graphics is huge with those two games

Can't explain it but the ending scene music really hits the vibe of that early PS2 millennium era. I remember so many games & trailers on demo discs having this kinda mix of club music with chanting that made everything seem so mysterious

@@tolgasupreme381 Asuka uses her moves in the later games I’m pretty sure but with some improvements. I think Jun and Asuka use Aikido. Could be wrong it’s been ages.

It's crazy the emotions you get from all these endings without any dialog. I like seeing King trying his hardest against Armored King. You can't see his face but you feel his emotions. And Kuma Dancing with Heihachi is simple and amazing.

I was like about 7 when played this game on arcade and I was crazy for it. It made me crazy to buy a ps2 , it was the first game I bought for PS2. I miss those days :) Me and my brother would have so much fun playing this game together all day! Now I'm 16 and I love Tekken Tag 2 too but this one is absolutely the best!

Ahh yes, the intro we NEVER skipped wwhen playing this game. 100% beat it and unlocked all the characters. Then i saw ttt2 and the FEELS. Both games are AMAZING But this one will ALWAYS be fondly remembered for all the good times my friends and i had.

I just bought this at the local Pawn Shop, black label + instruction booklet with hardly a scratch. Also bought Tekken Hybrid off eBay for like a dollar + four dollars shipping which is basically Tekken Tag HD for exclusively PS3. This is probably one of my top two favorite Tekken games, ever. It takes 3 and gives it steroids, but its balls don't shrink. Sorry, I'll see myself out

I was 7 years old, my parents went home with a huge yellow box and some disks. It was my very first gaming console, a PS2. Now I wasn't an avid gamer during that day since my parents somewhat struggled financially, but it was indeed a pleasure to have things like this. The very first game that my dad put on the PS2 was Tekken Tag Tournament, and I had no idea what that game was... All I know for sure was that I had so much fun that night playing that game, to the point that I somewhat managed to strain my right arm from mashing the buttons to hard! And I'm not gonna lie, since I don't know much about Tekken lore back then, this scene in 0:56 lowkey scared me as a child. Who knew I'd find myself watching this video after checking out the trailer for Tekken 8?
