Also Jack, Jack 2, Gun Jack, P.Jack were destroyed. And Jack 5, Jack 6, Jack 7 are obsolete models, and they are"victims" of replacing cycle. Dunno about Ogre/True Ogre, but i suspect he is dead too. Return of Michelle Chang is hardly doubtful also - they can bring back new young Kunimitsu but bringing back someone like Michelle Chang Jr. when we have Julia will be ridiculous 😂

Wang and baek's deaths aren't canon though, they're just what if endings. Like the entire t6 campaign story makes those 2 endings non existent cause they never interact with Azazael in it.

Such a fucking underrated comment. I was never into the Tekken online scene like I was with other fighters but I played the story for Tekken up to T6. I believe story wise the last good Tekken game was Tekken 3. Still never found out why yoshimitsu needed a new body. Or what happened to Gon..... Nor why the doctor no longer fights.....😐🥴

Something tells me Heihachi is fine. They throw each other into a volcano on rotation at least once a week. Should be Jin's turn this Friday, actually. Edit: There are two types of responses to the reply thread here. Those that understood that I was making a joke, and how no one really stays dead in fighting games. And those who are being smart asses.

Heihachi died from the final punch. His heart stopped. Being thrown into the volcano was just extra, and I guess Kazuya making sure his body couldn't be sampled. Kazuya died when thrown into the volcano. However due to the Devil Gene, enough of him remained intact for G Corp to use and revive him. Heihachi, unfortunately for his fans, possesses no such gene. Also keep in mind that Heihachi was severely weakened due to Akuma using the Shun Goku Satsu on him, which was the very reason why Kazuya could kill him in the first place.

It was powerful seeing Heihachi shed a tear after killing Kazumi. The moment when he lost his humanity. Sure he’s shown to soft to a very select few. But his ability to truly love died with her

I think that was poorly done. She's supposed to be this threatening super powerful demon final boss yet... she can't get out of his one handed grip? Just from normal goofy looking young heihachi? She sent him flying at the start, I guess the logic is that she got weakened during the fight... still could have been done better though.

Nah, it’s a ret-con. In Tekken 3, and 4 he wanted the Devil Gene for himself. Kazuya being more evil than Heihachi has been a thing since Tekken 2, but he’s always been evil till all of a sudden he wasn’t in 7.

But those characters that "died" after battle Azazel are not dead at all. The one who fought against Azazel was Jin/Devil Jin, hence the reason why Zafina absorbed what remained of Azazel's power after she got the orb, as shown in Devil Jin's ending. Her presence in Tekken 7 and her new powers are proof of that.

Wang was in T7 Just non playable. During the Mishima saga mode. The reporter goes to see an "old man" who tells him about the devil. If you listen to the voice carefully and the way he sings the poem you will clock it is Wang Jinrei.

It really pisses me off seeing how people think Wang and Baek are dead. Any T6 Arcade endings with post-defeat of Azazel aren't canon. The only Azazel ending that is canon is Devil Jin's. How do we know this? Well after Devil Jin picked up the orb (Azazel's Heart) it reverted him back to Jin, and who was there after that? Zafina, she was the one who took Azazel's orb. That's why she has it in Tekken 7. That's just one example of an arcade ending being canon. Unless explicitly stated or said otherwise by Harada or Michael Murray...then Baek and Wang aren't dead or alive, but *missing* . Also to the people who said Jun died, she also went missing. It's not a retcon.

Every ending that have to do with Azazel and the temple are arcade endings which are non canon. Jin never turned devil in the campaign which is canon to Tekken 6. Devil Jin is more of a side character that's connected to Jin.

Kuma 1 died of old age, jack is an emotion aI but the models are usually destroyed after the new model is successful and Jane put jack 2 into the test model. Jack 2 killed prototype jack, the Tekken force killed gun jack, heihachi killed kazuya even though kazuya was only dead for a few days I still count it, I assume ogre was killed by jin, jinpachi was killed by heihachi, then killed by jin, Eddie wasn't able to raise money for his master's surgery in time and he died from illness, I assume Bryan killed Dr Abel in his Tekken 4 ending because he is never again, and jin killed Azazel.

Jun Kazama. Killed before Tekken 3 by Ogre. Wait, Tekken 8 what?! I guess Ogre was a very poor assassin in the end, just like Nina.

Only person ogre canonically killed was King 1. They mentioned kuni, wang, Baek, Bruce, Lee, Jun, etc. It was never confirmed besides King fans are the one who stated ogre killed those name I listed for them to reappear in a later title.

Baek and Wang are not dead. Kuma is at least the second Kuma, as the first one died. Yoshimitsu is at least the second but probably more like 4th or 5th, as that is a title of someone in their clan, and they kill them when they get too old to fight. It's part of the reason he looks so different in every game.

For there to be a different yoshimitsu each game, they would have to take the title when they are already old. Its clear that 2-5 are the same yoshi considering their relationship with the doctor so its safe to assume its the same yoshi in every game.

Wang and Baek aren't dead. Their Tekken 6 showcased a what if situation. Both never made it this far. Jin was the one and only to defeat Azazel. Many characters never met. Also Ganryu never turned into his Devil form. So Baek and Wang are alive.

If heihachi is truly dead, he's gonna come back as a robot ai. "AI-Hachi Mishima" 😅

Then after Oger killed King 1, AK1 trained the current King (T3). Then Marduk killed AK1 and King 2 wanted revenge but spared him (T4). Then, for reasons I cannot fathom, King2 and Marduk became besties 😶

Looking at T7 makes you think, “If Kazumi never attacked Heihachi, would her vision still be true?” Only time Heihachi went down the path of world domination was when his own family, Kazumi, went crazy and tried to kill him, making Heihachi question his own son in the process. Idk what happened to the relationship of Heihachi and Jinpachi tho. I like to think Heihachi instantly had the same suspicions when Jinpachi was acting funny too but that was because Jinpachi was turning to an old fart. He started having amnesia or lost of memory due to old age or something like that, and Jinpachi attacks Heihachi, thinking he’s an intruder in his home. It’s far fetched, yeah, but it would be a funny reason why Jinpachi suffered his fate at the hands of his son, being an old guy who forgets sometimes lol

She died a long time ago before Tekken 3, look at what her appearance in Tekken 8, she's almost like an angel that redeeming souls, in short term she's a ghost. If she's still alive she would look like Asuka who have no powers like redeeming souls or the power of light, but exactly like her in Tekken 2 were she still alive. Maybe they'll be another Mishima with his name in the next game. A sort of Heihachi Jr. maybe. It doesn't had to be the original Heihachi but it could be a younger nephew or a relative carrying his name in honor of him. Wang and Baek's death isn't canon. The Scenario Campaign with Lars and Alisa is the ONLY canon story, any Arcade story within that mode is non-canon. The only ones officially dead is King I, Armor King I, Kuma I (Kuma Jr is the one we know now since Tekken 3), Jinpachi (technically he's dead but somehow he got resurrected by a Devil power unrelated to the Devil Gene) and most recent Heihachi. FYI, Kazumi was never existed in Tekken 7, she was already dead years prior to Tekken 1 in the storyline and was introduced in Tekken 7 to fill in the origins of Devil Gene.

Agree, the fact devil possed jipanchi probably one of reason heihachi goes full force to need deal with those Gene. "doesn't matter how old they are" Smh, Baek is barely 50 which isn't even that old. Tekken fans really like to paint Baek as an old fart, my guy is pretty young. Although, I always imagined that Jinrei and Baek both retired. Jinrei is probably just babysitting his grandkids and teaching them his style, while Baek is just starting a happy family

Technically Jinpacho was already dead. The Jinpachi encountered in 5 was technically his evil spirit-possesed corpse.

They killed off some dope legendary characters, I remember using Wang and Baek alot back in the day, I didn't even know those characters were missing, due to the fact that I haven't played Tekken in awhile

Moonlight theme sounds awesome at that speed.

Wang didn't get killed. But I do wonder if he died from old age already because we haven't seen him appear in anything after TTT2.

I wouldn't be surprised that they comeback ( SOMEHOW ) even though we witnessed each of them die in the story.

Wang and baek aint dead dude. The t6 campaign is the definitive story, any endings having characters fighting azazael never fought him.

Of all the characters in Tekken King was the one who least deserved to die 😭😭😭

Everyone's already pointed out the exclusion of Kuma, and that Baek and Wang aren't dead, but you also missed Kunimitsu I. She died sometime between 2 and 7, with the Kunimitsu in 7 being her daughter.

There is just something that's so pure and innocent seeing king on tekken 1 with pixel graphics walking off to the snow .... I can't explain how inner peace it gives

Considering the fact Heihachi got killed by Kazuya seems kinda weird they been throwing each other off cliffs for years and Heihachi somehow dead, that doesn't seem too easy 🤨⛩️.

Hiehachi is such a legend, 76 years old and a billionaire but he prefers to fight superhuman enemies with his own bare hands.

Harada said Wang may have died. There is a cha ce that he has died due to natural causes but he wasn't killed by Azazel as that was non canon. Beak is also a what if case. Though like Wang he may have died a natural death or just retired

I really don't understand why the community believe this, I really don't, but Baek and Wang never fought against Azazel, and obviously, never died against Azazel. Does endings are *not Canon* Azazel only died against Jin in the campaign mode in Tekken 6. Where this disinformation even coming from?

@@seiryu265 Yeah I know what the word canon means, thanks. I also know it's an almost meaningless concept when it comes to fighting games. Remember when Heihachi had a "canon" death in Tekken 2 when Kazuya dropped him off a cliff? What about his "canon" death in Tekken 5 when a squad of Jack's bombed him into oblivion? Didn't seem to bother him much when he came back swinging for literally every subsequent game. Hell, I can think of three characters off the top of my head across various other games who've all had a "canon" death only for a long lost sibling or some other nonsense to take their place, rendering it pointless. The story for games like Tekken is flimsy garbage. You'd be a fool to listen to anything it tells you.

@@EsteemedReptile are you serious? The whole point of the scenario campaign in t6 was to be the canon story introducing lars/alisa. Wang & baek never encountered azazael in that campaign....at all, so those endings are what ifs. Idk how people just fully ignore tha campaign when that was the actuall storytelling narrative for t6.

Seeing "In All Tekken" for Heihachi is quite hitting. T8 creates a new era but will this be the end ?

It would be nice if the list was canon. Impossible for Baek and Wang to have been killed by azazel, because it was Jin who fought against it canonically. The other characters are with status "unknown" not "deceased". They'll appear again.

Baek was originally killed by Ogre before T3 like King, but they just ignored that later.

I love Baek Doo San but I still have no idea how to pronounce that name.

If Wang and Baek's endings are canon then that means they were the ones who defeated Azazel. We already know that isn't the case though, because Jin was the one who "defeated" Azazel in the end, so as far as the canon story goes Wang and Baek are still alive.

He will come back for sure in Tekken Tag 3. I can see him as DLC in Tekken 8 and he will definitely will come back in Tekken 9. Maybe in 10 at the latest.

No it's best to keep moving forward. Heihachi has stayed in the game long enough. It's best for Heihachi to stay dead.

If Wang and Baek is dead cause of the T6 arcade ending. Then Ganryu got Devil powers :V

I hope Tekken 8 will have character customization like Tekken 6 or even BETTER cause in Tekken 6 character customization was sick and it was better than Tekken 7's. I hope we get Heihachi In Tekken 8 as a DLC I also hope for DLC Eliza, Kunimitsu,Geese,Ganryu,Kazumi,Devil Kazumi maybe a Baek DLC

Hopefully Baek is fine. I was just starting to main him when I was getting a bit tired of T6, so it'd be nice to get him back.

What about Ogre? He was definitely killed in Jin's canon ending in T3. Also Kuma I died between T2 and T3

uhh... Kazumi? :V Sure, this list is not chronological from the story perspective, but game release perspective. And even then, Kazuya died in T2, and Kings died before T3 and T4. Sure, it was revealed that Kazuya is resurrected, but from the perspective of T3 he was the first dead character.

Baek and Wang story mode in Tekken 6 isn't cannon, it was theories that maybe they died at old age, Wang is possible cause dude is 100+ years old but baek likely retired

Heihachi "death" count: 1. Tekken 1, Kazuya throwing him off a cliff while unconscious. Heihachi comes back just fine for Tekken 2, four years later. 2. Tekken 5 intro, blown up by Jacks. People try to pretend he's hurt, but he wasn't even knocked unconscious. Within two weeks he's back, and even though he canonically missed Tekken 5, we can only assume he didn't miss it by too much. The only issue he has is remembering where exactly he was at the time, whooo. 3. Tekken 7, punched in the heart by Kazuya, then thrown into a volcano. Kazuya came back from exactly that, so there's no telling how long it'll take Heihachi.

Kazumi's death was real sad because it solidifies how Heihachi was never the bad guy as he was force to kill his own wife. :(

His own wife went after him because he was evil. He went after and imprisoned his own father to take control of the Mishima Zaibatsu. He then turned it into a military powered independent of any government. So Kazumi targeted him. Because her clan is destined to combat and kill evil.

He was a noble and just man who was good friends with Wang Jinrei, Ling Xiaoyu's Grandfather. It was Jinpachi's son Heihachi who was evil and power hungry. Kazumi sensed this evil. And sought out Heihachi to monitor him closely.

Isnt like every yoshimitsu on a different tekken version a different yoshimitsu, because when that yoshimitsu is old and cannot fight he fought with a manji clan member becoming the new yoshimitsu and only one thing remaining of him is the sword called "Yoshimitsu"

Kinda annoying that just both Kings and two Mishimas are dead. I don't believe Wang and Baeks' deaths because the Canon ending is Azazel is defeated by Zafina I could understand Wang dying of age but Beak should be brought back if he's not confirmed dead.

By the way Jin is the only one that killed Azazel

One thing history shows us heihachi is immune to death 😂

I'm pretty sure Dr Bosco isn't dead. I honestly don't even remember anything mentioning Bryan attacking Doctor directly. Manji Clan members: yes, even Lei Wulong had a scene where he's trying to arrest Bryan Fury for attacking the Manji Clan members, but no mention of the Doctor

Doctor Bosconovitch wasn't killed, Bryan Fury just attacked him and destroyed his laboratory. He even developed the android Alisa Bosconovitch to protect Jin Kazama once he took over the Mishima Zaibatsu.
