@@TheHeisenBuldge I think it's just hard to justify bringing her back. Her story is pretty much over and since she's a clone of Eddy, it doesn't really make sense to include both of them and Eddy still has more story to give to the series. Imo tho they should just do what they did in Tekken 5 and have them take up the same character slot, and you can just choose which one to play as you're selecting outfits, so Christie can still be playable for those that want to play as her but she doesn't need to be actively present in the plot.

I wouldn't call Bruce forgotten, considering that both times they gave us a replacement people kept shouting, "Where's Bruce!?"

Marshall Law as in "martial law" and also, the Marshall plan of 1948, meant to aid european countries economy after ww2 ended. If you forgot about Forrest Law you probably didn't grow up with Tekken 3 as your true first Tekken

Dr. Bosconovitch was the most iconic hidden Character in Tekken 3. So hidden, that not a lot of people knew he existed in Tekken 3. He also did not appear in the Tekken 3 Arcade.

Miharu was kind of interesting in TTT2. She had a few moves exclusive to her, including a low sweep that was pretty decent. I hope if/when they eventually make TTT3, they do bring back all these characters again. One of my favorite aspects of TTT2 was seeing all the variety.

Probably won't see a TTT3 after the failure of TTT2, sadly. There's going to be a lot of characters that will never be seen again, including all of my mains, who are all the least most popular characters in the franchise.

@@N.i.E.M.O the main reason why TT2 was s hated was because it was a hard game to master and learn but the casual (which are the majority of players) really enjoyed it, it’s why it has a 7.9/10 rating, I don’t think releasing TT3 is going to be THAT big of a risk that there’s no chance they’re ever gonna do it again, but yeah the chance of it being made is quite slim

I just hope Anna Williams is base roster this time and not DLC I have a good feeling she's gonna be in Tekken 8. With the hints of her on the city stage with all the billboards and also Nina not having one of her moves in Nina's reveal gives me hope. She's a legacy and and a OG same goes for Lei. They never should've been DLC to begin with. The characters that were DLC for Tekken 7 won't be the same for Tekken 8.

Bro WORD! Zafina should’ve never been DLC. She should’ve been a part of the main story. Especially with her ties to the devil gene. And yeah…main stay characters like Anna and Lei should t be dlc. If they aren’t gonna put them in the game day 1 they should just leave them out. That being said, I hope Lidia and Fahkumram are in the game aswell. They should join Leroy as dlc characters who came back in the next game.

If the leak was true, Alex has a chance of returning, Michelle would be great, they applied the same age logic with Jun, so if they wanted to, they can bring Michelle back. Angel, that depends on the storyline or something else.

Skinswap* not character. Christie and Eddy have the same moveset. You need to have either one of them gone or both of them locked as one character.

Miharu has to be the most underdeveloped character in the Tekken series lmao How come she has the exact same martial art skills as Xiaoyu who was praised by Heihachi and trained by Wang lmao Her entire personality evolved around being the best friend of Xiao. She had no personality outside of being a side-kick/support character for an already existing character. And then TT2 happened where they tried to give her a personality and for some reason gave her a beach-look? That was somewhat unrelated to her character..

In all fairness, she was never supposed to be a serious part of the roster. She was made an alternate costume for xiaoyu in 4 because she was in her ending. Beyond that, it's clear Namco has no real plans for the character. Hell, she's never even mentioned in character profiles afterward.

@Tatsuki Geomili she met jin through heihachi. She snuck onto one of his boats and demanded he build her a theme park, and he was so amused he took her in as his ward and said he'd do it if she graduated from his school.

Dude Shin looks cool, he looks like he could've been the Total Fighting/Baki stand-in of the game

Bruce had as much right to be in Tekken 7 as Jin, Nina, Anna, Lars, Alisa and Kazuya did. Why was he the only character from the Zaibatsu vs G-corp feud missing?? Saying Josie or Fahkumram replaced Bruce is like saying Kenshi replaced Ermac cause he too can do telekinesis.

Alex and Roger were heavily important for the lore. If Kasuya hadn't made them, Jun and him wouldn't have met.

In all fairness, tekken blood vengeance has been clarified to be non canon, so shin likely doesn't actually exist in tekken continuity. So I think it's less that he's forgotten and more that Harada has no desire to canonize him.

Definitely. I'm not even a Law fan but Forest ended up being one of my most played characters in Tag 2 because of how fun and fluid his moves were.

Shin Kamiya seems like he has potential. I seriously doubt he will become playable but since Jin plays an even bigger part in the story mode than he used to, maybe...? Without that crazy power whatever it is since that's gonna need a whole new plotline and that's just making things complicated. Relate it back to ogre or something I don't know. And give him a very unique personality to make up for his rather dull design.

see now would be a good time. Cuz this game is probably ending the jin saga, if not idk what they would stretch it past 8 with. So if they continue they would need a new protag and i dont think its gonna be anyone from the mishimas or kazamas. Lars doesnt exactly work and Asuka while popular doesnt quite have what she needs as a protag yet, exploring another bloodline showing its not just the kazamas and mishimas would actually work pretty well. Also Ogre bloodline would be good for another reason. Cuz people have been asking for baki and yujiro dlc and this would be pretty funny on the irony

They should bring Shin back for Season... 3? of Tekken Bloodline! Could be the same season that they introduce Alisa, and they can incorporate beats from Blood Vengeance! Then for Season... 4? he could tag along the amusement park with Panda, Miharu, Xiaoyu and Alisa!

I had such a crush on Miharu back in the days... But saying Christie or Bruce are "forgotten" characters... man, I wish they'd be just some random leftovers someone nostalgias about every now and then, but they get clamored for every other video. Just as forgotten as Baek, but that's what part 2 is for, I guess. On the other hand, I feel like King, Armor King and Kuma, the originals, feel kind of forgotten in the sense that it's not widely known that we play their succesors in the current games. Anyway, looking forward to Prototype Jack. =D

I know it's VEEY unlikely but I would love Dr.B to come back. I know he's like technically dead but still. The way he fought was so different and unique and always fun to watch. You never knew what to expect from his character.

I miss Mokujin. I genuinely loved playing it because you're constantly changing movesets. It was always good against people who weren't Tekken heads to even out the challenge

I don't really care if they share most of their moves with other characters in the game. I just like some variety. So devs just add as many as you can. Would be awesome to see old characters with the next gen graphics.

A real tekken player could never forget

Dr. B was never forgotten. Back in the 90s it was his unique mechanic that made most of us curious about playing Tekken and here we are today (and Gon too). Bruce too for a different reason, I liked his kit.

There's no reason for Michelle to come back. As for Baek, we already have Hwoarang. Bruce, on the other hand, might have a chance if the devs would allow it (like Jun).

Christie was snubbed in 7, but not forgotten. Hope she is back in 8.

Alex is my boy. Seeing him come back for Tekken Tag Tournament 2 was such a delight. If only Gon could come back, but that’s likely a licensing issue.

Even though the Netflix series gave Leroy his backstory part of me wishes his back story came from being close to Eddy’s mentor/Christie’s grandfather, which would also give us some understanding as to why her grandfather was locked up in the first place

Since Bruce's parents died the only options would be Leroy inspiring Bruce to be a role model for the youth since they're both about doing what's right for their neighborhoods, maybe since he's up there in age maybe have Leroy be related to or a step sibling to Bruce's mom or dad idk

I love Miharu so much, I'm a main Xiaoyu since she appear on Tekken 3 but i didn't liked the character in dessing or personality that much, I just liked how her moves worked and her play style, but then I played Tekken Tag Tournament 2 and I fell in love with Miharu, she's bland as a paper but her design is so beautiful and one of the thing that make me love the character is the bag item and some of her unique moves. I really hope she come back on Tekken 8...

But if we keep wishing if he's there in Tekken 8, what would be his fighting style be? We all know he's just an enhanced human from the Mutare experiment conducted by Heihachi. Heck, he doesn't know how to fight, only throwing air-blowing punches that even has no damage on Heihachi. If someone would suggest that Shin's moveset would be Kazumi's or Heihachi's then it's awfully far-fetched: Shin's only a test subject to Heihachi (plus, we already have Kazuya) , but Kazumi on the other hand, has zero relation towards him. Though, I'd love to see him in Tekken 8 but there's no reason for him to appear, both story-wise and gameplay-wise.

Christie Fun Fact: Christie first appearence should've been in Tekken 3, cuz Tekken Team were planned to add Female Capoeiro fighter in Tekken 3, instead of Eddy. But due to limited knowledge of Brazil culture, itself, and since PS1 polygon still would add some problems for adding such character, they decided not to risk it. Later, in Tekken 4, their female capoeiro became a fruition. (Also, i prefer Christie over Eddy any day) Alisa Fun Fact: It is unknown how old Alisa was. And during her death, Geppetto created Alisa, based on look of her deceased daughter. However, some would suggest that she's might be legal. Meaning - 18 years old. However, suggesting, doesn't means official. To my opinion, she's somewhere around 16-17 years old, and i cannot say i am right as well, but i know she's around those years, based how Android Alisa is looks. Untill it will be known how old Real Alisa was, untill she died, the whole talk of her age is useless. But during her living years, what can be actually confirmed, since Geppetto tried to recreate Alisa of her real appearence... Then that means her "Hair Color", and "Eyes Color" is a copy of real deceased Alisa. Dr. Bosconovitch Fun Fact: If someone will say that he is dead, cuz in Tekken 5 Bryan killed him. Well, rest assured, he is alive. It is known that he was attacked by Bryan, but he survived. The real reason of his existance, is his every suits, that Doctor B. creating for Yoshimitsu. Even in Tekken 7. Shin Kamiya Fun Fact: Even tho he have no official canon appearence, in storywise whatsoever. But he def would've been, if ppl voted for him, instead of Eliza, during Tekken Revolution poll. He was one of those, who ppl would get into Tekken canon. The other fun fact, there could be voted Zombie Bride, Tougou, Salmon, Sexy Tekken Force Girl, and even Female Version of Paul Phoenix...

@@joshualedesmasegovia Wang Jinrei is definitely gone for good. Xiaoyu took his Waning Moon throw in Tekken 8 along with some of the moves that she gained from Wang in Tekken 7. Even her RA in Tekken 8 is called "Wang's Celestial Epic"

The ones that deserves a comeback in my humble opinion is - Bruce as he's already unique as it is (if I were to nitpick perhaps slightly change his battle stance because it looks a bit goofy), Devil & Angel (considering the Devil Jin character might've fused with the OG Jin, those two will be perfect in sharing some of its movesets in their own individual slots), Jinpachi to further complete the fam!! Ogre, though idk much abt him but would like to see him as well!! Shin Kamiya as I believe he was 3rd most requested during an event where Eliza has won, 2nd was a Mishima Soldier that kinda looks a like a fused Katarina and Lars I believe, as he has potential to have an entirely new kit if ever!! Christie as one of the most requested too but since she's one of those copy paste characters type, she really needs a Jun Kazama treatment that would need her to be unique and distinct enough to be playable again!!

@@-.DIO.- Oh, that's also used for the same reason. You can access your elbow strikes way quicker and counter attack with punches quicker too. You can see buakaw do the same hand position before he counter punches and knocks someone out.

Gon is a guest character. A memorable one, but guest nonetheless.

Shin has the most funniest appearance like his only in the movie and died when he tried to literally fight heihachi thinking he could bring peace to them but there's no peace in this Tekken universe

FINALLY, someone recognized Shin in tekken universe 😭 still can't move on from the fact that he lose against two women when he has a solid reason to be in the game

Bruce has replaced three times 😂. Brian replaced Bruce at Tekken 3, all of his moves were taken by Brian and Ogre back then. He was replaced again by Josie and Fahkumram at Tekken 7. His moves got taken by both new characters.

Miharu's a dang civilian with no knowledge in martial arts. She can only do that in TTT2 because it's an alternate timeline.
