An iconic Tekken 8 DLC character would be someone from Def Jam Fight for NY (Crow, DMob, Carmen Electra, Fat Joe, David Banner, etc)

I wonder which guest characters will be added to Tekken 8 via DLC. Part of me would love to see the return of Akuma as he did play a big role in the Tekken 7 Story Mode, and he technically didn't complete his goal of killing both Heihachi and Kazuya.

I guarantee you right now, the way they've set the DLC up by giving us 4 additional characters every YEAR, Akuma, Geese, Noctis, AND Negan, are highly likely gonna return back. And we'll still get new Guests entered in the game as well.

@@XzoneVinnie3D Ehhh.. Dante has a better chance at being a playable guest character in a game like Smash Bros than he does in Tekken. And if, hypothetically, Captain Falcon were to appear as a DLC Guest Character, he would have to be a Nintendo Exclusive DLC, or a DLC costume.

you guys may as well forget about guest characters being added! especially since they were balancing nightmares for the devs since they all use the same 2d street fighter playstyle (not just akuma)

The best guest characters are the villains, you really cant top Akuma's presence or Geese's absolute swagger.

Same music that plays in the Hammerhead stage lol. It's a Final Fantasy XV soundtrack, called "Stand Your Ground". There's a lofi version of the tune called "Careening into Danger" as well, which isn't in Tekken but is super good.

Has anyone ever thought about Kiryu Kazuma form the yakuza series

I kinda hate that you have to buy the characters instead of just playing through the tournament mode to unlock them. I mean, that's how it's always been done. The game's $60, and spending $5.99 with a total of 15 characters... that's almost $90 total just by the characters alone!! That cost more than the game itself.

I feel like the reason for "unlocking characters" was tedious for people so it being gone from T6 onwards shows how it likely wasn't favored. Also you definitely don't need to buy all the characters, just buy the ones that seem to peak your interests

This is content that was developed after the game released. You don't even unlock the characters in the base game anymore and DLC is content that just wouldn't have been in the game from the start because the roster was already ridiculously big.

To think we used to unlock these by just playing the game... I get the guest characters, but Anna, Lei, ganryu etc? Also, the best frenchise they could ever colab with is Yakuza, wasted opportunity. Maybe in 8, we'll see.

Lidia is irrelevant. There too many karate style character already. We need new moves, like Leroy Wing Chun. There are plenty martial arts to be discovered and they still put another karate user.

@Hafris33 It's clear that you don't know what you are talking about and do not practice Karate. As a 2nd dan Shotokan Karateka myself Lidia is simply the best represent of actual Shotokan Karate that really exist and that is practiced by thousand of people in the world. The difference may not be that simple to see for non karateka but Mishima Karate does not exist, it's nice but far to be as accurate as what they did with Lidia. Her mocap have been made with the help of Tastuya Naka, a JKA Shotokan Karate sensei. It's totally incomprehensible that they made that much work on this character (design and moveset) to drop her that fast and not make her in the T8 base roster. I hope she will come back as DLC because she have all place in the Tekken games.
