Since Tekken 2 was my first tekken game i still find it amazing that they went from Blocks to ALMOST realistic graphics. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK KONAMI!!!

the jump from 2 to 3 is the most iconic for me.

Tekken 5 was the best tekken game in pretty much every aspect. So glad it was the main highlight of my childhood!

@@missmoanypants I know right, I totally loved it! I remember picking it up brand new from the shop, playing it on my CRT, I remember one time me and my family went on holiday in a caravan and I took my PS2 and me and my sister played it loads, I just have this memory image of the Jinpachi stage.

Tekken 2's OP was so awesome back then, got goosebumps everytime I watched it. Well even now it's still one of the best video game OPs ever, and Tekken 2 my favorite Tekken.

Even though I've had a lot of fun playing some of the newer instalments in the series, I do think the older ones are the best. The characters and story felt really exciting. Tekken 2 was the first I played, aged about four :') But Tekken 3 was the bomb during a great chunk of my childhood! ♥

The intro to Tekken 5 is still #1 in my opinion.. impress me Tekken 7 cx

I feel like all 90's kid should at least know Tekken 3 and 4.

I remember just buying Tekken 3, watching the intro movie, and knowing at that moment, without even actually playing the game, that this was going to be a great, great purchase.

Ah yes, the good ol' days, were so sweet, Tekken 1-5, after that 6 and Tag 2 are broken garbage, I will admit that there are things I like about those games, however super juggles, and bounds are the worst things to happen to Tekken EVER!! I could give less that a shit, about someone crying "noob" or whatever BS, flavor of the month term elitist a$$holes want to insult people with, the truth is Namco fkd up, they could have made so many other innovations to make the game more fun and deep, like more ground combat options, giving every character parries and counters, and some sort of well timed mid-air escape, (even at the cost of health), damn I could go on all day. Anyways, as a diehard Tekken fan from the beginning in arcades and Playstation 1, I will say that these videos bring back good memories, and with all of this back story, it's a shame that they can't make a good Tekken movie. Thanks for a great upload. Peace.

Tekken 6 definitely strays from the main story and focused on something almost non relevant. It also introduced a game mode that didnt stick. I definitely think that 5 is where there best efforts died out.

Tekken Dark Resurrection intro starts at 1:12:56 and as for Alisa she didn't have a ending in Tekken 6 along with Lars because they were in the campaign mode and were featured in all the cutscenes

Tekken 3 was pretty dark compared to the rest...I mean just look at Ogre holding ripped or cut off head (mostlikely Juns head) while turning to the camera with red glowing eyes

personal I would say that Tekken is at his best when it is at its funniest. specially in Tekken 5 :P

I have Tekken 3, tag tournament, 4, 5, 6, tag 2, and 7 when I look at all the intro openings to the Tekken games it brings me back memories from my childhood days. My favorites are: Eddy Gordo, Nina, Marshall and Forest Law, King, Hworang, Lei Wulong, Paul Phoenix, Yoshimistu, Jin Kazama, Raven, Baek Do san, Heihachi, and Christie Monterio.

Nina and Anna have rivarly over their fathers favour who was a legendary assassin. Wang is an old master and an ally of Heihachi's father, he fights out of respect for their deceased elder. Kunimitsu is from Yoshimitsu's clan the Manji, but was ousted for not following their code of honor. Finally, I believe it's because although corrupt and vengeful, Heihachi is not pure evil. He is just a bitter old man from the death of his wife, which is why he hates Kazuya (she died during his childbirth).

I still don't know to this day how the hell Heihachi manage to get back up there and push the fucking button?

That was Christie's grandpa in the Tekken 3 intro wasn't it around when it showed Eddy?
