​@@palmeristoDevil Gene doesn't make Lightning. You have to have Hachijo blood for the Devil Gene which would make sense for Jin and Kazuya since they're descended from Heihachi and Kazumi. Mishima blood makes Lightning, which makes sense for Jin, Lars, Kazuya, and now Reina. Nobody without Mishima blood has lightning.

What I like about the new Tekken 8 characters is even disregarding their design and move sets they have so much personality. We haven’t had any story with the new characters but we can already tell what kinda characters they are and their vibes. But in terms of design and moveset Reina looks amazing too imo, definitely a potential new main for me 10:20 I thought that too, love the Heihachi reference in her win pose, but she does it with her own swagger too

Big Juri vibes, just less of a chaotic psycho and more of a controlled sociopath. Love it.

The combination of Taido and Mishima Ryu fighting style suits her really good kinda reminds me of introduction of Shotokan karate with Lidia Sobieska 👍.

Also interesting to note that her lightning colours change in the rage art from yellow and purple to blue and pink. Not sure whether it's just to fit the theme of the rage art colour schemes in general or if it has any further meaning.

The little phrase "you'll figure it out soon enough" with her little snicker followed by an electric one I'm sure she has mishima blood running through her veins

The sound design is great in this game, every hit sounds meaty (very impactful and sounds like it hurts) also her fighting style is just cool, that head grab with her legs to a flip was just clean

I like her better than the Frenchman for sure. Her moves aren't as over the top. This is probably next generation of Heihachi's moveset assuming he's dead and he won't ever return.

Her style is another version of Mishima style karate. And that's also why it have some similarities with Lydia as they both using karate.

If you look at the end of her rage art you can see the silhouette of heihachi. The two red lights are his eyes and the lightning takes the shape of his head

She has two shades to her lightning and her stage also has akuma in the background and some moves similar to heihachi. She has rage art that is similar to akumas introductory pose in tekken 7 and akuma can also produce lightning like mishimas

She is 100% related to Jin and Kaz. They can feel their blood boiling as to why they question who she is as if they NEED to know and have a strong curiosity sensation to know

she has the moves of asuka and heiachi. and her final move may be hint that she might have devil gene too.

Looks like Heihachi's moves, but she incorporate some Kazama style as well. Maybe some Ling's too, as like she studied Jin and his friends for a long time and decided to boost her style with some of those moves
